Hey there Kilo.

What strain is this, it looks really nice. Your doing an excellent job , keep it up.

Those look very nice, bushy and healthy. You're gonna get great yield from those ladies in conjunction with those lights. Smoke one for me when you're done flowering! ;)

Oh, and yeah, what strain(s)? Bagseed, or something identifiable? Doesn't really matter, just curious too.

Yield will depend on too many things for anyone to really predict with any accuracy. Are you going to flower with ALL your lights? How long are you vegging for? Have you pruned for yield (to generate more bud sites)? Strain, temps, nutes, just too many variables. The holy grail is 1 gram/watt/crop, or 0.5 grams/watt/month. So if you flower with both 400 watt MHs and the 600 watt HPS, you could theoretically yield 1400 grams, if everything goes perfectly. In reality, aim for half of that (1.3 pounds or so if you use all the lights) and be happy if you get it. If you just use the 600 watt light to flower, be happy with 10 ounces or so and consider anything beyond that a bonus for a job well done. Better to be a pessimist and happily surprised than an optimist and bitterly disappointed. ;)

Check out this link and look at figure 14....looks very similar to your leaves which might mean a Potassium deficiency. I am by no means knowledgeble about nutrients so draw your own conclusions.

Hey kilo , how far into flowering are your plants? Within the first 2-3 weeks they can double in size so they could be stunting there growth depending on where you are at flowering. As for everyone losing intrest .... I dont think they did, they have no input because you're obviously not in dire need of help.

The buds look Bad Ass! How tall were the plants when you went to 12/12? Or how did you determine when to go to flowering? I have some babies on My grow pics. Your Harsh opinions! thread... in Hydroponics...

Let us know the harvest yield! What is your estimate? That looks like Pounds... Not ounces!

kilo_420
10-27-2006, 10:59 PM
my plants were about 2 feet tall when i induced the 12\12 photoperiod they really shoot up during the first few weeks of flowering 6 of them at least doubled in size and the other 4 damn near tripled .
as for an estimate on yeild i'd say 1-1.5lbs although i think thats being a little conservative after seeing the size of these babies and their big beautifull sugar coated buds

and as always any questions or comments always welcome and appreciated thanks everybody for all the support i dont think i could have done half as good a job without sites like this one , i would also recomend any new growers go and buy themselves a couple of good grow books i have jorge cervantes indoor grow guide and the mel frank cannabis bible very good and informative info

With only three weeks left, I personally wouldn't want to do anything drastic. Maybe a little Epsom salt but I imagine you are probably planning to start flushing soon. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will also respond to your post as well.

And I forgot to mention how nice your ladies are looking. Good job!

hows the plants doing? my leaves did the exact same thing when i first found out i had mites, around same time flowering to. loooked exactly like that. use a pocket microscrope to check? If they are then in that stage of flowering i would go get some ladybuggs. they get rid of most of them. but its hard to get rid of the last

kilo_420
11-07-2006, 10:25 PM
its not mite damage i've had mites on a previous crop very devastating so i know what to look for now and its not a bug problem my room is always kept very clean i always pick up any dead or fallen leaves remove the plants weekly and give the room a thourough cleaning i am fairly positive that it is magnesium deficient as canna bis uses quite abit of it and not many fertalizers contain enough of it this happened also early in the flowering cycle i used abit of epsom salts 2 tsp per gallon and it seemed to stop the progression of leaf damage
anyways i have new pictures from today day 44 of flowering ive just started to flush with just plain water hope u all enjoy te new pics

Do you know what is causing your burnt leaves? I had the same thing happen to mine and I thought is was from over ferting. I lost most of my crop because it stopped growing an the roots faded. Any info about what caused the burnt leaves?
