Just got arrested about an hour ago...

I was driving home from a friend's house, and got pulled over by the local cops. I blew a .055 on the breathilizier (i'm only 20), had a metal bowl, and roughly a dime bag on me. I was wondering if anyone ever got themselves into the same mess and what the consequences usually are?

i got caught with a bowl on me (a bowl of weed) that's it... i wasn't even driving, i got over a 1,000 in fines, 6 month suspension of my liscense (and id din't even have it) have to take a drug awareness program to even get it back, have to pay 'high risk insurance' when i do get to driving, and 100 dollar reinstantment fee to get my liscense back.

It all depends on what state you live in. I'm not too sure about the underage drinking and the DUI, but I know for a fact possession of under an ounce in California is a misdemeanor, with a max fine of $100 and nothing else.

I wish you all the luck in the world, man, and I sympathize. But if you're going to drive after drinking, shit, you could wait a year.

Wow slip that fucking sucks but ya i guess it matters on the state and town you live in. most cops around here wont even search you because they dont want to deal with it because like literally almost everyone in my town smokes weed either regulary or every so often. Ive been pulled over 5 times in my town and ran from the popo once in my car and not even then did they search me or my vehicle.

6 dwi's here,,,the last suspension was 10 years... I drove all my life on the revoked list...LOLz Cheer up U may get lucky like me... when I finally got my license back the State could not reinstate me in there computer system,so after 3 weeks of trying someone just deleted my record... My insurance is as low as it can be... When police pull me up on there laptop they get no record and then they try to trip me with stuff like,you know you got six points,I say thats impossible I never got a ticket in my life...hahaha...LOLz... I fought the law and I won...

I don't know where U come from,but here .05 is impaired and carries a 6 month loss of license and a 1000$ fine with a 1000$ surcharge for 3 years for a first offense... Used to be .075 was the impaired stage...

I have no beef with the laws on drunk driving, and people who drive under ANY influence turn my stomach (my brother has driven drunk three times that I know of, and once got caught and lost his license for a year).

What was the cop like? Was he decent at least? I mean, if you got arrested and were posting here an hour later, it couldn't have been too bad.

And I think the 21 year old drinking age in the US is retarded. The way I see it, when one is old enough to take his/her life into their own hands, as well as the lives of other (on the road with a license), they should be taught how to drink responsibly, toke responsibly...etc...just seems silly that you can have your license and vote before you can drink....

The cop wasn't really a dick or anything. All he did was cuff me, take me back to the station, breathalize me, and take my picture. He didn't slam me against the car or anything like you see on cops He did try to find out who I got the weed from, but I could never rat out my dealer (he has a wife and family)

the DWi you are stuck with, loss of driving for some months depending where you live. Not sure how it works in other states but used to be here in jersey underage dwi would get thrown out (not on your record anymore) when you come of age

I got caught a few months ago while at the coast. I got a decent lawyer and he got the judge to supspend the case and put me on 2 years probation, with one year under supervised drug testing. So I now have to attend 12 NA meetings, take random tests (few a month) and upon competion of all that good stuff, I get it off my record. I'm 22.

And I smoke every damned morning prior to and afterwards just out of spite thanks to the whizzinator. Good luck man. :thumbsup:

A while ago, I was at a police station to for some reason...maybe to pay a fine or get finger printed for a new job...I can't remember at the moment..but for whatever reason, I had to get something out of my purse and I set my purse right on the counter with a cop standing right behind it. When I unzipped my purse, my bag of weed fell out half way on the counter. What an idiot I am!!! I didn't look up at the cop so I don't know if he saw it but I quickly shoved it back into my purse and acted like nothing happened. I was freaking out on the inside.

One thing I forgot to point out is my blood alcohol level was .055, In PA that would be under the legal limit if I was 21 (the number is .08 if I'm not mistaken). Also, I didn't drive home until I took a nap for a few hours. So it wasn't like I got drunk off my ass and decided to go joyriding. I just wanted to clear some of that up.

i got caught for "Delivery" about 4 months ago. and still awaiting that court date :( owell i got a clean record and they never found any money or weed on me. they just saw me go from my Dealers house to my friends car then about 6 miles all the way to my house.

of course they found it on my friend along with a pipe. but nothing on me :) so i think all i'll get is probation (i hope or that's damn near 4 years in jail)

Once i got arrested for a DUI. I only got 305 bucks in fines, license suspended for 3 months, and 360 cans of food. I also have to attend this DUI awarness programs bullshit. As long as i get no tickets for 9 months, i wont get charged with the DUI. I also got caught with a bong, a pipe and about a quarter ounce. I didnt get charged for any of that, and the cops probobly smoked it. O well, best of luck and i hope you dont get fucked over too bad.

i was coming down from a trip long ago..
got pulled over.. vehical description matched one of a car that was reported on the edge of town.
eyes wide as dishplates making eye contact with the cop..
oh man, that cop knew something was up.

nothing happened tho.. fun days.
