yeah u can do that with a plant, i did it with my first hydro grow. how well it handles it will depend on the strain, but i think most should do ok.
dont put the light too close to it for the first few weeks, ull notice wen it can handle more light.

I use a dwc bubble buckets and a tub. Just fill your tub until it touchs the bottom of the net pots. Also you might want to lower your ph to 5.8 and lower your ppms to around 500 to 600 so you wont burn the plants. Because you taken them from one type of growing media to another. Give them time to adjust and then raise your ppms as needed and keep your ph at around 5.8 to 6.0 and you should be fine.:rasta: :pimp:

here are some pics of mine my ph is at 5.7 and ppms around 800 thats because they are around 3 weeks olds and ready to flower and Ill raise the ppms to around 1000 when I change there nutes from veg to flower nutes.

i like to wait before I see roots. I keep them in a propagation dome. however, these days I just use clones. you cant start them in the DWC but you need the water very close to the top and you need to cover the rockwool from the light.

I just finished a G13 grow on a 2 plant DWC bubbler setup. I vegged for 2 weeks until it was 10" tall, then flowered it for over 10 weeks. It ended up over 3.5 feet tall. The main cola weighed 8 ounces wet so Im figuring about 3/4 of an ounce dried for the main cola. Should be a 3 ounce harvest in the end. The stem is 3/4 of an inch thick, its was the fastest growing and strongest plant I have ever seen.

make sure to keep your ph under 6...5.8 is optimum average...in flower you can drop as far as 5.4 to make nitrogen less available.

6.3 is .5 too high!
