High all,
I was thinking after reading thecurious1's Marijuana Manifesto that the document could be a great first step towards something that we can all live by, quote, use in debates and use to spread the word. I think it just needs to be refined to reflect all of us. I think the tone should be peacefull and logical, based in fact. We could cite actual studies and research, quote the great freedom fighters, govornment statistics etc...
I am sure if we all pool our energies for a common goal something great will come of it.
I'd love to read your thoughts.

You could make it into a letter people can copy to send to there government officals. I know alot of my friends wouldnt take the time to sit down and write a letter themselves. So I think it would be a good idea.

Some sort of letter definitely needs to be written. Once that shows what the government says, and refutes their "statistics", and also describes the benefits of marijuana, along with the proof. We need to get the word out! People are missing out on life!

Great ideas. Any specific points come to mind?

I am sorry but i have to say it. I have out of this world ideas like this all the time. Then i smoke some bud. These Ideas are great but after i toke up i find myself not carriong out these plans. If you are actually motivated to go after your dream, MORE POWER TO YOU MAN. I say go for it. Do the things that the other tokers dream about, in short, Be the smokers hero.

I agree.
I would send a copy to the heads of here.

I think it needs to be somthing that can be sent anywhere in the wold...so not just facts and figures from the US, but facts from around the world.

Satan666 Could you post a link to some of these letters?
I had a look but couldn't find anything..

Lol.

For the longest time, I've felt that the original 'Manifesto' has outlived its 'sticky' status. That's just me though. ~

yeah i agree.
i dont really see how it is a manifesto and i dont need someone else's words to live by just because we both like smoking. i mean the original has some good writing but saying it is words to live by now to me thats just silly

I kind of like the idea of having something in writing that we as responsible users can all agree on. Considering in most govornments eyes we are all CRIMINALS even though we harm no one at all.
I am not an expert on the U.S.A. but they claim to be the leaders of the "free" world and one of the first rights they hold as self evident is the right to persue happiness. I am not an American but I believe in this right for all men and women and marijuana makes me HAPPY!And like I wrote earlier my use doesn't hurt anyone.
I guess this is the jist of what I am trying to get accross to the world in general. I feel if we can lay out our arguement in a fact based easy to understand format then it will be much harder for govornments and politicians to misinform the public as a whole.
If something I can help create can change one prohibitionists mind or keep one responsible user from jail it will be a success.
I still need your help, ideas, suggestions.

So lets all expose the hypocricy in every way we can! Truth will defeat B.S. propaganda. Once we have a piece of literature we can all agree on as representative of us all, we could take the next step. Perhaps an e-mail campain to get the word out. I am open to suggestions but mostly I am looking for passionate, motivated people to join together and take action.
