Salvia first time

does anyone have any suggestions for trying salvia extract for the first time...i tried shrooms once and had a bad trip.. but most of the night i was alone which i am told is why that happened... but anyway any suggestions would be helpful (how to smoke it, what type of enviornment .etc.) thanx

I think that discussion on salvia/shrooms isn't really allowed on here; just a heads up. I've never done it but I've heard it has to burn really hot and the smoke is really harsh so it's ideal to use a waterpipe or bong to cool the smoke. I've also heard that its a good idea to take turns with 2-3 other people with only one person at a time, in order to make sure they dont freak out too bad.

you probably want at least the 10x extract....and you will want to be in a comfortable environment

when you hit the salvia, keep the flame on the salvia the entire time you're taking a hit, the hold your hit in for at least 20 seconds

I recommend using the chewing method first, it may give you a better idea if you're ready to smoke it or not.

But, can you handle extreme bitterness for 20+ minutes?

i know it seems like it should be allowed to talk about but i've just seen in a couple threads that people are wary about discussion of saliva/shrooms. better safe than sorry, i guess.

I tried it a few times. Every time was pretty much the same. First you get this feeling like there's a bunch of tiny needles pricking you (but it feels kinda cool), then you start laughing your ass off. Everything feels really, really heavy. My buddy tried like 40x his first time through a dry bong, and no shit he wasn't even speaking a coherent language. Everything he said was like "halablab abababa", then he said "charlie looks like a brick of mountains". So have fun with it!

You may not like it, many poeple don't.
It's not like weed, shrooms, or anything else. So be prepared for a unique experience.
Don't do 40X for your first time. I'd recommend 15X, with a sitter, and a proper enviroment. Some people don't feel anything their first few times (reverse tolerance effect). But it hots some people like a ton of bricks.

salvia is completely differnt from anything ive had before..ive done it 3 times. first time was a complete trip..it wasnt a good one because of the enviorment i was in. I was ina hot garage with like 5 of my loud ass friends. make sure u do it with some of ur buddies but one at a time. if you are with ur firends, just make sure they dont fuck with u, or talk and bug u. its best to take the hit, (keep the flame on it the whole time) inhale DEEP, the just close ur eyes and lay back..o0o if u have an ipod or something put that on and just chill...I did this the second time i tried salvia and it was an amazing trip. :thumbsup:
