Hi everyone.. I sure hope someone out there can help. Im a smoker not really a grower, but I had accumulated quite a bit of seeds, so I decided to plant a few to see what would happen. I planted them on July1, kinda of late in the year, I know, but they have been growing really well. They started flowering about 6-7 weeks ago, possibly more, Im not sure, but they were looking and smelling great. Then today I went out on my back porch and my stupid ass dog had got on the porch somehow and had broke the main stem. My beautiful plant was laying on the floor, oh I was pissed! I brought the plants in the house and removed all the fan leaves, and hung them upside down to dry, but is there any use in this? Even though they werent mature, can I still dry and cure and get a high? Please let me know. I have included a pic of some of the buds. They do have those trichomes on them. They look like tiny little crystals, if that helps anyone tell me if they are any good or if I should just trash em. I can tell you one more thing.. they smell wonderful. My whole bedroom smells so good its got me feenin! Thanks!

next time you get a breakage (they happen all the time) simply put the stalk together as best as ya can and duct tape it...sometimes a splint is needed too. but the plant can grow back if caught soon after the damage has been done. duct tape should always be handy in everyone's garden...

Although I'm fairly new at the whole growing thing, and I have yet to complete a single grow, my advice for you would be to dry these and CURE them for a LOOONG time. I'm not positive here, but I am guessing that because the plant was prematuring cut and dried, there is still going to be quite a bit of chlorophyl in the buds, and you want to get as much out of them as possible by curing for a long time. Atleast a month. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
