Got my seeds today?

I got my seeds today and needed some instruction. I will be growing hydro, I have rapid rooter plugs and almost everything I need. just a few Q's

When I put the seeds in the rapid rooter plug, what lighting do I put the tray under?

Do I just drop the seed in, or do I push it down inside.

this is the first time growing anything, so sorry for the newbe questions. Buy the plugs didn't come with any type of instructions. thanks for the help in advance.

No lights needed for germination, just keep them at a stable warm temp. But I personally wouldn't use the rapid rooter plugs, you'll see why if you use them. If you do use them, don't put the seed too deep because it won't be able to get outa tha hole or so to speak. It may be best to at least put half of the seeds in some nice organic soil or such.

Thanks for the reply, I don't understand germinating in soil for growing with hydroponics, why wouldn't you use the plugs? I have searched and found no problems with starting that way. Please, more info.

Oh yeah sorry forgot the hydro part. In that case you may want to try the coco coir blocks.
