I've been trying to figure out a discreet way to grow mj for some time now and I noticed a cabinet my dad got from work downstairs....I was wondering how I could use it without making it too obvious(putting a piece of plywood across the front of it) maybe using the drawers that came with it any suggestions are appreciated( I attached some pics of the cabinet I don't know if it will show them or not)

I hate to be "the square guy" here Tug and may be out of line. If you are young enough to still be living at home with your folks then perhaps you should reconsider the grow and wait until you are under your own roof.:)

I'm actually 20 and I'm still living at home untill I transfer out of comm. college...my parents are pretty leaniant so I don't think it would be a big deal...they might be a little disapointed at first maybe tell me to throw it away(I don't think they'd ever notice it though because they never come upstairs and It's about to be shut off from the downstairs with a seperate door and staircase)(outside) so thats not really a big problem...my parents know my brother smokes...my mom even washed his bong one time and didn't know what it was until his girlfriend said something lol

dont tell anyone, dont burn your parents home down, and make sure you read these forums on how to build or buy the right materials

pastor,I totally understand what you mean if my parents would have a big problem...if I was younger or if my upstairs wasn't basically an apartment I wouldn't even think about it but I've been interested in growing for a while now and figured I'd try to grow maybe 1 plant just to see how it goes...extra bud never hurts lol :stoned:
yeah cactus I got'cha lol I've been trying to study up on here for a while before I actually build it

thanks I just took the fronts of the drawers off and made it into one big swing door instead and put it in my closet....when I finish making it I'll post some pics

Tug, just making sure you realize the seriousness of what we're talking about here.

Airflow and lighting are going to be the "big" challenges you face only because of the limited space. But will CFLs and computer fans it's totally doable. I'm sure you've already painted the inside white.
