hello yall...
i need some feeback from you....

i have a veg room thats about 2 and half feet wide and 4 feet long.. with only 50 inches of height...

i have a flowering room that is about 3 foot wide and 4 feet long and 50 inches of height..

i have 400 w mh for veg room and 400 w hps for flowering room... and they are air cooled reflectors with high cfm fans..both rooms are sealed air tight...

my issue is what growing method shud i use... for such minimal height(50 inches)... the reflectors are 8 inches plus 1 inch for connecting to the celing of the room..i only have about 40 inches from the bottom to the top of the refelctor... hydro.. which method.... or if soil is best...

i am familiar with all the hydro system and can construct my own hydro system... i just need to know which kind is best for the minimal height i have... or soil is better?

i would like to have monthly harvest of 1 or 2 plants... for personal use..

im not worried about the heat because i set up several fans to connect the duct from both light and will exaust the heat out of the room...(i have two 240 cfm duct fans.. and one 300-400 cfm inline fan for the heat only) will see which combination of fans work best to reduce the heat..... i plan to have an oscillating fan in both rooms.. with vents for circulation... i dont have a choice with the height...

any feedback wud be appreciated..
thank you for ur time:thumbsup:

If 50 inches is ALL you've got for EVERYTHING, I'd suggest SCRoG.

If 50 inches is what you've got for the plants, then you can go other styles with ease.

But if you have to cram pots, plants, buds and lights inside 50 inches....
I see for you:::
SCRoG
SoG
or a LSTed plant.

I dealt with 48" in height.... :p

As to grow system....
What do you mean?
Hydro?
Soil?

For SCRoG, you need a mother.
A mother plant is like... 98% required.
You need to know that the plants you're growing into the screen are 100% female. Because, if you veg your plants for 2 months (example), and have a very nice green screen... and then flower them... and find a male... you're fucked.

Keep us updated buddy. :)

For you I would make or buy an Aeroponics system. Use foam plugs to hold the plants in the way you have plugs for clones. Or you can use net pots too either way is fine. The idea of Aeroponics is where you can grow with little bottom room. If you work it right the roots don't grow big there is no need so the plant puts it energy into growing plant matter.

There is a thread in here where a member is growing with a sun cell system. Check that out, that is one of your best options to make something like that.

scrog will probably give you the best yield and if you use clones at 1 plant per sq ft it doesnt take long to fill the screen and most of it will be filled after swiching to flowering, your flowering room is a little big for a 400 w hps you might consider updrading to a 600 for better results.
you could easily use soil or a hydroponic setup for your grow meduim either is fine if its your first grow you may want to do soil atleast partly just to keep things simple such as starting from seed in soil and after sexing take clones and install in a hydro system.
