I've bought and smoked kb before, and it fucks me up, but what exactly is it? Is it just really good mids? Is it indica or sativa? Is it grown differently than other types of weed?

KB? Well most likely it's "Kind bud" unless your referring to a certain strain. And that my friend, is usually anything thats better then mids.

KB usually refers to high quality MJ. You know, the stuff that doesn't look like crap.

KB is not a strain. It's simply a slang word for high quality smoke. Stand for Kind Bud(s)

i dont think its seedless as someone else had mentioned you just dont find many seeds of it when you buy a small amount but if you buy big i am positive you will find a seed or more

No, it will typically be completely seedless. Marijuana plants are either male or female and in order to produce seeds the female must be fertilized by a male. If a grow is well controlled the males will be removed before they get to the stage where they can produce pollen. Or, if the grower is using clones instead of seeds, he can also insure there will be no males, hence no seeds.

Marijuana plants will stop producing THC once they have been fertilized and divert their energy to growing seeds. Therefore, given the exact same conditions and strain, a seedless plant will produce more THC than a plant with seeds. This is why "KB", "Dank" or whatever you want to call it, will typically be seedless. That being said, I've had weed with seeds that could certainly be called "KB" and seedless weed that couldn't

I hate that, seriously. I mean seriously who the fuck thought up that name! I have read a theory behind it's origin and it seems reasonable but I'm tired of people using that word "Man, this some dro" WTF! I understand them using dro to describe weed thats strong but...please dont say "dro is a type of weed". People say that, dro is not a type..and wtf is a type, it's not a strain of marijuana. It's a synonym for tetrahydrocannabinol or sinsemilla if you ask me dammit xD. I dont wanna hear that shit. I wish people would learn what the fuckin strain is around here :p.

Ha ha! I know where you're coming from man. It drives me nuts too.

"Dro" or "Hydro" is just short for Hydroponics, a method used to grow cannabis by feeding the nutes directly to the roots, which results in mass yeilds in shorter amounts of time. I'm sure you know that though. I should just put that in my sig.. :D

I take an nice organic bud over a hydro bud anyday.

If you really want to shove it in their faces, read up on the Hydroponics section here. It will explain things better  One day you can show up and be like the Edison of weed, and prove them wrong. :p

Hell yeah Nochowder! There's nothing like the sweet smooth taste of some great organic bud. The other day somebody told me the thing they hated about smoking weed was that it was so harsh on their throat. I just laughed.

The thing about hydroponically grown weed("hydro" or "dro") is that, usually, if a person is going to go through the trouble to grow hydroponically, they take a bit more care and tend to grow high quality weed. At least in terms of potency. Weed grown in dirt, however, can be anything from medical grade to mexican brick weed (schwag). Since hydro is nearly always good and dirt isn't, hydro got the reputation as being better. The reality, however, is that it really doesn't matter if it's hydro or dirt, it's the skill of the grower that counts.
