Bong Problem

I recently purchased a plain old generic water bong, and I've been having some issues with it. First of all, it seems like one medium sized hit will cash the bowl. The green hit will be really fat and nice, but the 2 or 3 hits left in the bowl barely get anything and suck. Is this a weed issue or a bong issue? Also, the weed was falling through the bowl a lot but now I'm using a screen so I can't get quite as big of bowls, either. Any tips, ideas?

keep the screen, in a metal bowl the hoels are too big and yuo need a screen. ive had one of thsoe v bowls on an 18" bong like yours. if i ground it up ncei and fine anc packed it, i coudl get 3 big chabers off it. and that gets me stoned. but for when theres more peole around, i bught a bowl that fits a .5-.7 for sessions with multiple people :). Lesson? buy a bigger bowl, its only 2$

I have the same bong as you except it's green. I've had it for awhile and yes its a very simple generic bong. The bowl is just tiny and you can only put so much weed into that tiny thing. Maybe your too advanced? I like to think of these as training wheel bongs.

But the important thing is that you CAN get hits from it.

Yeah most bongs are like this, but the important thing is...it gets you HIGH.

I'd say check out a new bowl head. At my local headshop they have this bowl head that looks like a barrel, and that thing fuckin PACKS. break up the weed as tiny as possible, and try cornering hits. It seems queer, but it saves so much more when it's not being torched. if all else fails, do what every stoner does and smoke more :stoned:

That's all normal for the bong. You should just pack fatter and corner it more.

"cornering" as in just trying to burn a small amount on one side?

Yeah all my bongs usually last like 3-4 hits and there cut. No one I smoke with likes the idea of cornering or leaving some green for the others, they take huge hits burning as much as they can!, Im re educating them however

yeah, cornering is great. Just hold the flame away from the bowl a bit, and try and get the tip of the flame on the green. Best way to smoke.
