this is my veg room runnin a 400 halide. the dimensions are 6ft high about 3.5 ft wide and about 5 ft deep growin some bagseed right now but a buddy of mine has got some humbolt clones he is gonna give me. my question is do you think 400 is enough to veg 10 plants and what would be my best choice for a flowering light for the ten plants maybe 15?

Yes that is fine to veg if you have a hood that can direct the light to cover the area. As for flower HPS is what you want I would suggest 1000w just make sure you have a large glass bottom hood to deal with the heat.

thanx for the advice.1 more question would a 600 and a 400 be as efficent as a single 1000?

With that much reflection in the box, 600W would give you some good buds and keep electric and heat down. I have 8 plants under a 400W right now. And if you want 1000W, you'd be better off with one light.
