job application at mcdonalds

i was recently forced to get a job by my parents, so i put in a application at mcdonalds, and it said we do pre employment drug testing on the application.

the manager said that i have a really good chance because not many people are applying and they really need help.

what kind of test do they do? i havent smoked any weed or done anything illegal in about 2 months.

I don't think they hair test so unless you were doing a serious amount of drugs 60 days ago or your are grossly overweight or inactive, you will probably be fine.

lol you made me laugh, and by the way, im 15, so thats why im at mcdonalds, im not like a 40 year old bum or anything, not saying people who work at mcdonalds are bums, but you get what im saying.

big nice mcdonalds (think rock and roll mcdonalds) probably

just present yourself in a manner that makes you look like you don't do anything and your fine

and 2 months pretty much means your clean so I wouldn't worry

two months abstinence, you will pass OK ... BUT, at 15 years old, you need to seriously consider your future ... if you ever plan on a career that surpasses minimum-wage car washes or fast-food joints, better leave the marijuana use to an occasional 'special occasion', or plan on a sad, disappointing life as a deadbeat ... good luck ... :smokin:

I worked at McDonald's at 15, THEY DO NOT DRUG TEST. If it's on the app it's just bullshit, they won't follow through, way too much money for them.

I worked at Mc Donalds and I was never drug tested I got high with all the managers I think thats just a scare tactic. Mc. Donalds is to cheap to pay out money to drug test there employees. Besides THC is out of your system by now it usualy only takes 30 days to get out of your system depending on your metabolisim, body weight, how often and how much you smoked etc. If your overweight and have a slow metabolisim and you smoked alot it could take up to 45 days as where a smaller person with a high metabolisim could clear out there system in 30 days or sooner. But this is for urine testing only. Not sure about the others havent ever had to take a saliva, hair strand or blood test for drugs.

Aren't some McDonald's franchised out and owned by individuals? Just becasue 3 of the Mcdonald's employees in the above posts were not tested doesn't mean all McDonald's do not test. It's been 60 days, you should be fine unless you used a lot of drugs for several months before those 60 days.

i feel much better, and this is a medium sized, small town mcdonalds, but the managers are all like 20, so i doubt there going to test me or whatever. but yea, definately sticking to only as a special treat for now on, for occasions and the like.

I have worked at 3 Mc.Donalds between the ages of 15 and 18 (all but one was individualy owned) Im now 21 and my whole family has worked at a Mc.Doanlds at least once in there life. Its kinda like a family tradition now that I think of it. Anyways from my experience and from the experience of anyone I know who has worked at a Mc.Doanlds or any fast food place they have not nor have I had to be drug tested. That is why alot of stoners work in fast food or some kind of resturant. There is actually one place of work down here that doesnt drug test and you get paid really good. I use to work there, its where I found my connection. The only time yuo get drug tested is if you wrecked one of the cars and done more then $3000 woth of damage. So most of the stoners over 18 work there and the youger stoners work at resturants.
