in need of some tweaking ???

im throwing this all in here so some of you guys can tell me if i can improve what im doing...

im using.....

4 tube lights (sylvania pro 40 w ) 3300 lumens eack running 24\7

have co2 hosed in...( yeast - jug - sugar)

bulbs stay 2" away from top of plant

temp stays around 79-80 F

good air flow (fan blowing in and 1 blowing out)

humidity is at 83%

waiting till soil on top is dry before i water

ok- soil

miricle grow garden soil 40%
mircle grow perlite 35%
walmart potting soil 25%

organic tradition -garden lime 0.5 cups
-epsum salt 0.33 cup

we dont have a ph tester so i cant be forsure on that right now.(getting one soon)



the grow room is in a friends closet so our room is limited for now and he will have more room for the plants when they get bigger (hes makeing a grow room down in his basement with a 400w MH...(anyone happen to know how much extra juice you use with a set up like this ( 4- 40w tubes - 1-400w MH)???


anyhow,,, just moved to bigger pot with this new soil mixture (about 2 days ago)... was doing fine before and now im having some yellow spots on the end of some of the leaves and the plants just dont seem happy . the reason im throwing this out like this is that ive seen alot of good folk around here that know alot about this subject matter... any feedback wonderful! here are some pics to give you more of an idea. peace :o

looks like the mg soil is burning the plants. i've heard horrible things about it in the past although i've never used it myself. also you should wait till the pot is almost completely dry(not just the top) before watering and 1 plant per pot is going to be in your best interest as well. if you are going to upgrade to a hid you should conisider hps instead of mh, you will get much more/better buds flowering with hps. otherwise, keep up the good work and always listen to what your plants are saying, they will tell you what they want all you have to do is pay attention.

thanks for the reply... i dont want to trasport them again just did it a bit ago... would flushing help dilute the m grow potency? if not d i have any other options...its getting bad quick!!! ty again , peace ;)

i have heard that the more you water in mg soil then the more of the slow release ferts are allowed to get to the plants. get them out if you want to save them. they are still sooooo young and soooo fragile at this stage. if you are extremely careful you could repot into promix or something similar removing as much of the mg soil as possible without damaging the root system. i have never used mg myself so i am just telling you what others have told me about there experiences with it and not my own experiences. i always used a mix made up of 60%promix bx, 40%perlite and 1tbsp dolimitic lime per gal of soilmix with excellent results. good luck!!!
