Hey, Slipknot. Yes, I'm from the Dallas area. Really the Plano/Frisco area just north of Dallas. I'm not terribly paranoid. Don't have anything to worry about. That's why I've got my profile a bit more complete than I used to. I realized why should I hide? There's really nuthin TO hide.

Glad to know you're from Texas, too!!! Go Longhorns! (And Cowboys.) I'll get flamed for saying those two things, I'm sure. Can't help it on the Longhorns, though. UT's where I went to college. And where I'm in school now, too!

ahh i never saw you say where you were from, i was just curious and i'm not into football, or sports for that matter.... i used to be into football back when i was like 5 or 6 or so (when the houston oilers was still there O.O) had a HUGE box of football cards and all (lots of money in there) and it got stolen... i know who stole it too, my own damned uncle did it but there's nothing i can really do about it now.

Is UT the university in San Marcos? you might be going to school 3 minutes from my grandmas house.

Slipknot, the truth is I don't care a lick about football, either. I can tolerate hearing scores after games are over--and even occasional replayed clips on TV news if there's an important play my husband feels I need to appreciate visually. But I really mostly prefer to go someplace else and read a book or shop or do whatever I want while the men are going ape over games.

Colonel, heavens no, the university in San Marcos is called Texas State University. Formerly called Southwest Texas State University. It's a part of Texas' state university system, but it's not THE University of Texas, which is huge and in Austin. That's where I went to undergraduate and graduate school--the biggest and the best, UT Austin. Nothing else compares, I'm afraid.
