*UH*??? Always wondered about this?? Experts??

This was my first year growing. It was an outdoor success :D . My girls have no seeds in their buds, but the weed I buy has seeds in it, as a matter of fact my grow was from bag seed.

So I'm wondering why don't my plants have seeds in their buds, is it cuz there was no male around :rolleyes: ? And the weed I buy is exposed to males? :rolleyes:

Also there is no smell to my weed....I mean when I was drying there was definately a skunky smell, now that it is curing there is no smell (at least with one plant thus far in the curing stage, others are still drying) and my non-growning smoking friend commented on that fact, but I smoke the shit, and man after 2 hits I am goooooone. :eek:

What gives with that??

the seeds you get can turn out male, female or he-she.
sounds like you got females.
yep no male on either the same plant or any nearby means no seeds. :)

females only produce seeds if there is a male plant close by to pollunate it

if you wanted some seeds for your next grow, then fair enough, but if a female plant is nowhere near a male, then she will produce more resin (i think) to try and attract a male to pollunate her, hence bigger buds on your plant :D

thats why if you dont want seeds then you remove the male(s) so the females dont get pollunated and the buds are bigger/more potent

i might be wrong, and someone will correct me if i am, but thats what ive figured

you got lucky that there where no males in the vicinity LoL
they are horny bastards themselves and I have seen females get pollinated without a male node in sight LoL

the smell though, that has nothing to do with the potency of your chronz... the THC production within the flower is all that matters. If it dosent stink, your kinda lucky cause no one can smell it and find out you have bud! LoL

i didnt know that! i've never grown, well i did once but my mom found them and made me pull them up so i have them pressed in a book.
she is parinoid. lol
