all weed seems the same to me. How do i identify different weeds. alot of them smell the same to me and shit and taste the same...

I agree with Lag. Experience. You just have to keep smoking. As time goes on, you'll see many, many different kinds of weed. You'll be able to sense how they smell different, how they feel different going down when you light it, the taste, etc etc.
In time, it'll just be natural for you. Don't worry, brudda, you got time! :thumbsup:

experience is the key dude, but just to let you know, it's the usual case that if the weed appears crystally or w/ little red/orange hairs on it that it is very good though :thumbsup:

like people already said hairs and crystals usualy accounts for better quality or distinctive smells like a fuity smell from orange kush

Its easy to tell the difference between good and bad quality ganja. I hope you don't mean strains though, you really can't tell what strain it is by just looking. I mean, the bud usually looks about the same, but really its just too hard to be accurate, you'd have to see the plants and know a bit about them.
Better quality stuff is generally better manicured. That is a great way to tell right off the bat how good it is. Also its more sticky, hairs are a good indication, tiny crystals, and an overall good-quality look.

There might not always be a difference, but one thing to notice is that regs are often compressed more, and kinda flat, instead of a nicely shaped nugget.
