Woah gotta go with the flow here. It's hard to find originality in tatoos nowadays, yet that ear tattoo nulifies what I just said. I say go for it! Or I will haha.

All I can say is that anyone who actually tatooed a gecko on their ear is going to regret it at some point in their life.

Who cares?
If you wanna live like that, might as well kill yourself now.

Live like what? Avoiding permanently altering my body in such a tastless manor? And for what? Attention? I think I'll live just fine without spending the rest of my life justifying why I decided to tattoo a gecko on my ear, thanks.

Just go to the shop where you're getting it done and talk to the artists who will be doing your work. Bring in some printed ideas that you posted here, and they will more than willing to work with you customize your work. That's what I did with my guy anyways and he was super cool about it.

When I went in and got it, before we got started I just gave him some of my ideas and he was more than happy to alter and change a picture I brought for him.

Good luck!

I agree, my personal taste finds a gecko rather pointless. But for chisme, that may very well be a matter of personal expression. But that's not what i'm really getting at.
I'm talking about making choices. If you're going to side-step every descision that you might regret in the future, what's the point of living? In the long run, almost every descision you make might be regretted.
And besides, they can remove them now. 200 bucks and a little pain and voila... A peice of body art no longer exists.
People get tatoo's for all different reasons. Even if it was for attention, who cares? Art man... Art.

I like the tattoos, but I don't think tattoos are a particularly good idea. I mean, someday I might want to (or need to) commit crimes, and I don't want to be easily identified with conspicuous tattoos or scars. Some people are more in-your-face than I am, I guess. I like to blend in with the normals of society, fly below the radar, attract no attention, and when I inadvertently do attract attention I don't want to be too easy to identify later. I've had cops ask me the question, "Do you have any scars or tattoos" a number of times, and that makes me wary. Last time I got asked that, I responded, "Well, I'm circumsized, if that counts." Man, they got pissed! ;)

Thats why if your going to be robbing anywhere, or anything, you cover everything up. Mouth, hair, hands, arms, legs, feet, the lot. Thats why balaclava's are bad at disgusing you, cos from that the person can get your hair colour, what your teeth look like and anything else around the mouth/head.

....also why am i gonna justify a tattoo to anyone? let alone a small minded fool.........

tatts are personal.

Abattoir dream, THANK YOU, the main reason i would like a gecko tattoo is because ive lived in the same room with 9 of em about 3foot away from mefor nearly 2+years, £40 of my monthly wages goes to feeding them the food i travel about 9 miles because of the better health, 4 of those gecko's were born in a little incubator i made them,

inferious, also a nice responce man :D
