There seems to be this new method of making laws in cities and states that marijuana be the lowest priority for LE. This is happening because this style of law for MJ has been getting approved time after time so they just do it over and over in each city and state. LE is OK with this because they still get their government money to fight drugs because its still technically illegal yet they do less work. This is really the worse thing that could happen. They get to pick and chose who they want to enforce it on, and while we try to make it truly legal they'll just say look its virtually is legal we don't arrest hardly anyone, so there will be this huge grey area and trying to get it legal for real will be tougher than before. There will be this big perception that for all practical purposes it's legal which is wrong. There should be one pitch by all Marijuana proponents and that should be the first priority for everyone is to make a bill in congress that says - It's up to The States to decide - any other directions is waisted time - Year after Year after Year - we need to push congress to say LET THE STATES DECIDE ON MJ - Once the congress says ok its up to each state then there will be a massive sweep of states approving it. The states want to Approve it so bad right now 25% are virtually going against government law, if they didn't have that barrier they'd approve it in no time. The flaw is that Cannabis Proponents try to get the feds to legalize it as appose to just getting out of the way of the states. I can't believe the Special Interest groups of MJ supporters continue to miss the cross-hairs of what they truly need to be aiming for. Go to congress and tell them to turn it over to the states, Priority No.1 simply as that spend your millions doing that and I believe congress will get the message, its already awkward with states right out defying the feds. The Lowest priority Movement is a Win/Win for the feds/states but a total loser for the individual.

We need it legalized, the feds will never do that - they will however get out of the way of the states if thats what all fifty states want them to do, which is just about the case, the feds are just fighting it so hard. NO MJ Initiative or Proponent funds should be spent on anything but getting the feds to let the states decide. Its the shortest distance between to points is a strait line. I'm just getting a bad feeling about this lowest priority movement, its like they are losing and this is their perfect compromise to users, like they are doing users a favor by saying hey will look at you as if you not breaking the law - even though you are - but hey were just taking it easy on you out of our good nature. But when they pull you over and don't like your attitude, it doesn't matter if its a low priority they might at their own choosing decide to that night make it a priority right then knowing your probably thinking your ok. I'm not liking the Lowest Priority Movement, maybe something good can come of it, but it looks like the LE's way of digging their feet in on a battle that has started to tip in the other direction, its like they are saying Yea lets get fed money, do less work and PICK AND CHOOSE who get MJ convictions on them. Ultimate Win for LE.
