My buddy's plants ended up being 1 male 1 hermi 1 female. It's his first grow he chose to keep the hermi and get rid of the male.He then asked me if he could cut off the pollen sacks.I told him what i've herd but never experienced that the sacks grow back 5 fold.He did it anyway but instead of just cutting off the sacks he clipped every branch that was hermi leaveing about 70 % of the branches. He got lucky that the plant was semi hermi i guess you could say.Well its been about 2 or 3 weeks now and no new grouth of nuts.We called the technique neutering the buds are bigger than the females and is doing great. My biggest question is will there be seeds in his bud.I'm guessing not because of the fact theres no pollen will there or could there be any other problems???

thanks everyone in advance

I'll be interested to see what happens...I had a similar hermie plant and I also noted that the male sacks were only only certain branches. I thought about cutting the entire branch off and seeing what would happen but I ended up just killing it. Don't want to risk having any chance of it pollenating my other females.

I had some of those sacs, all over three different plants of two different strains, and I let them grow to fruition. No seeds, no problems. In fact, I think the pot may actually be *better* than the previous crop. Perhaps the strain they endured that caused the sacs (3 days of high heat, no ventilation and virtually no light) also caused increased resin production in a desperate attempt to breed a new generation. Glad as hell I didn't cut 'em down, or I'd have a pound less pot. ;)

BTW, when I cut open a couple of those sacs, I found a viscous juicy fluid, not pollen. Dunno what that deal is, but I'm not gonna complain, seeing as it all worked out great.
