The past couple days I have noticed on one of my plants (Strain boggleGum) small bit of water ontop of the leaf. but its not getting there from me. Its a really small bit and I have only seen it twice now every few days. I am going to track if its the same leaf every time. I couldn't get a pict as I wipe it off to try and see what it is. Its almost gel like i think.

Is it maybe the leaf dischargin to protect againt somthing? the temp are 80 and they are 5 days into flowering. ProMix Soil based. Botanicare Pur Gro haven't added any flower ferts yet as the soil is still moist from Veg Stage.

Its a very small amount like a cm square on the tip of a leaf, and only on one leaf so far. I am gonna try and take a pict next time and post it.I just have to actully take the pict before I wipe it off. hahah

The plant looks healthy and all Picts of Grow are here... Its not comming from the plant with huge fan leafs (Strain BLUEJAY) its only on the plant that was topped and bushyer.(Strain BoggleGum)

But no picture of the actual water or dicharge. I do not mist the plants or have water on my hands when I have found this. I saw it 4 days ago and thought (even though my hands were dry) it was off my hand and yesterday I saw it again and definitly know itb did not come from me or the Cab its the plant giving it off or a bug or somthing.

Any help is greatly appreciated

thanks in advance.

Either you have a leaky roof of your temps drop so much during the dark cycle that you are getting actual DEW in your growroom. If that is the case you need to lower your relative humidity ASAP.

Thanks Sticky...

Did you check out my Log though? Have you seen my grow room.

There isn't a leak for sure and I dont see how this could be Dew. But Maybe... the temps get to 84 hottest! and 70 lowest I mean absolute lowest. is this enough of a change to have Dew?

the humidity is about anwhere from 40 to 50 at diffeent points of the day we are in Fall time, so The air is getting dryer but not too dry. Yet, I am actully worried about the winter time My building has Old water heaters and they create super dry air. i know cuz my lips chap somtimes in the colder weather in apt.

Thanks for your help Sticky, hopefully i can get a pict for you.

Not that I think your Wrong Sticky... as your on point with all stuff And helped me lots as well.

But if it was Dew wouldn't it be on all the plants not just one specific? Are my temps capable of making Dew? You could be right as Fall time has come and it has been colder the past week. Its actully nice I dont have to run AC to keep Temps down

just a thought

It showed up on the other plant today. I guess it is condensation. It said my lowest temp was 68.9 and highest was 83.9. But it hasn't been above 80 for a while now like 3 days.

I got some picts you can faintly see the water on top of the leaf. (Tops of the pictures)

It feels similar to water and has no taste. So I need to heat my Box in the day time?

Can't do that.... hahaha

I've Had a situation about the same as yours, but Mine only do it where 1 leaf is laying on the top of another leaf on another plant. Im Vegging about 30 in a 3x5x6 cabinet with a 400w hps they are about 12 inches tall and 30 days from seed and the Condensation has only happened recently now that the canopies are over-reaching there space :)

cool,, these leaves are the top ones. How bad is it for my plant? Like mine looks pretty good i think.

And is the fix to heat the box when light is off? shouldn't the plant be able to stay comfy at 69 when light is off?

shitty buzz

KD, your plants look awesome.
That's not as bad as I was imagining! :D
Just make sure you have constantly moving air and a little dew won't hurt them.

yr plants are fine bro.theyr producing that liquid to stop the leaves drying out which is a good thing and a sign of good air humidity.

Uh....

No.

If your facts were straight about producing water droplets to stop the leaves drying out, then that would mean the humidity was BAD.

And if the leaves were oozing water, they would dry out FASTER.

The only thing a plant produces to protect itself from drought is resin and wax. Like the leaves of a jade plant- notice they are waxy.

Some plants grow HAIRS to protect themselves, keeping an insulating layer of still, moist air close to the leaf/stem surface (look closely at the stems of cannabis for example, or at a lamb's ear plant).
