hey all,
ive got these little caterpillar looking things...maybe bagworms...they like to knit silky webs that turn the leaves mushy and dark green...they also munch on some leaves=no good.
how do i get rid of em (I am looking for an alternative to insecticide)?
(ps, they burrow under dirt, may be working on roots too!)

make some suntea with hotpeppers....8-10 peppers for a quart.they'll stop eating your leaves and vacate the area you spray due to irritation. If they are cutworms though you are too late cause they are in your stem.....indicators for cutworms are large bubbles shapes of the stem and holes near branch bases with brown waste building up.They'll eat right up in the bud from inside the stem and then bore out and make silk nests inside the bud.the pepper spray makes them stay in the stem but does not rid you of the problem.plus they reproduce twice a year and are the offspring of a moth
