so i've go this friend(#1) who I like to hang out with cuz we share a lot of the same interests. we smoke weed and listen to metal a lot. he's got this friend(#2) who i've met and he's cool too, but whenever we're all hanging out friend #1 likes to kinda change personalities and go from cool to "I like to knit-pick everything you say and criticize". overall he's kinda immature in some aspects(he's heavily into anime and video games). One thing i've really picked up on is the second he finds room to make a gay joke he does. i'm not gay or anything so doesn't bother me in that way, but it gets old so fast, and anything he criticizes he usually calls gay or homosexual. another thing i've noticed is if i mishear what he says or dont' quite understand what the hell he's saying he talks condescending. the whole situation doesn't bother me and much as it annoys me. over all he's a cool guy but he likes to change his personality depending on the situation.

I used to have buddies like this too. They'd go from being the coolest people in the world, to putting you down so they are the "star" of the show. They feel a sense of power poking fun at others. They also get a big laugh from their audience, so that incourages them more.

Been around them a lot, and yes, they suck. Tell him to bugger off next time. Be serious about it but don't be a prick either. Some people get quite surprised when some people are blunt with them.

Tell your friend to fuck off and go fuck his new butt buddy. Thats SOO annoying when people ALWAYS do that. Yeah, it CAN be funny, as long as you don't do it 24/7. just leave, if i dont like the way a convo is going and im smoking a bowl, ill finish up real quick and be like "okay, thanks but i have some place to go" then ill leave and ill casually bring it up to friend #1 and just be like, yeah, friend #2 is cool but i think im gonna smoke a few bowls by myself. or, you can just smoke with friends #1 and 2 but bring some of your friends so that way if #1 is being a dick, you can talk to your other friends and ignore #1
