Just got my medicinal card!

Yeah so today I just got my medicinal card and definately had to hit the cannabis club on the way back. :D

These are some MASSIVE buds! They had no name bud sometimes thats a good thing :)

Sativa: 85% Indica: 15%
Smell: Kinda chocolate/skunky.
Taste: It has a hint of that chocolate taste as you blew out the smoke with the obvious skunky aftertaste.

Has a real smoke smoke and leaves my mind open and running wild with a slight body buzz but enough for me to go and take care of my shit around the house.

Man, gotta love California.

An example of such that i used to have Eczema on me until I began using cannabis. After using cannabis regularly for 6 months, I took a month long break from the herb and was put on Effexor. What do y ou know and my Eczema came back until I started smoking again and it went away. A more severe example of how my disorder affects me is when I was in seventh grade, I was out of school for 8 months with a habit cough disorder caused by the stress and anxiety my body couldn't handle.

I have been on medications such as zoloft, wellbutrin, and effexor and while they provide some relief, cannabis provides complete relief allowing me to live a normal life.

So now I can finally use this wonderful herb freely (at least as far as state law).

I had a card for 6 months (cost me $110!) then had to get it renewed. It was another $90 for a year this time. When just about all your friends have a card, it's a better idea just to cruise with them when they do a club run. :thumbsup:

There was this club called Mother Earth, (it's closed now, I'm not afraid to bring it up) where there was a huge table inside with a Volcano vaporizer in the middle that any patient could use. There was also a bunch of buds laying around to try before making a purchase. Most clubs also sell tinctures, edibles (candy, chocolate, honey, brownies, cookies, THEY HAD IT ALL), thc pills, hash, hash oils, and many more.

It was all great until all the clubs around got raided and 3 of my friends went to jail for a few nights, because they were there when it happened. Still very cool shit though! If you live in California and haven't had the chance to see what a club is like, I highly recommend you get a card, ASAP. It's really easy to acquire...all you need is a California residency ID, and a hundred bucks in yo pockets. enjoi. :rasta:


Oh yea, and as Storm Crow mentioned, you can GROW WEED, LEGALLY! Tons of it too, like 12 plants if Im not mistaken. You are also allowed to possess around a half pound (8 ounces), if not more, of buds on you, anywhere, anytime!

Welcome to the "Club" dude, but you neewd to know that there is a big difference between the docs recommendation which you got yourself and a state ID "Card" for medical use.

A state card provides surefire protection from local and state LEO, as it is a state issued card like a DL.

A docs recommendation still makes you legal to purchase and posses weed, except you must be xtra careful as there is alot of confusion w/ fakes, night time encounters w/ the cops and no doc to get ahold of etc.

Well to go about getting the card the one maine thing that guarantees it is if you take a medication for a problem and say that cannabis works better than the medication or works well with it.

And prices in the distribution centers are pretty much the same on the street around where I am. 20 a gram, 50-70 an eigth, etc. Hash runs about 40-60 a gram. Baked goods such as candy bars are 8 bucks a piece. And the pre-rolled joints in the vending machine are 5-10 bucks per spliff.

Well even pharmaceutical medications that are supposed to relieve anxiety can cause anxiety as well... it goes to show that every drug affects everyone differently. For some marijauna may cause anxiety, but for me it relieves it. It gives me an appetite, relieves my insomnia, helps my eczema go away, etc.

Also when you say chronic marijuana use could that also refer to 'abuse'? Because when abused yes, almost any drug can cause social anxiety.

Use vs Abuse...using a drug is attempting to achieve its desired effect. 'Abuse' is to misuse a drug for something besides its intended purpose.

Not all drugs contribute to 'social anxiety'. Take methamphetamine for example. Although it can cause paranoia and psychosis in consistent amounts, it doesn't necessarily exacerbate 'social anxiety', which is a fancy word for 'shyness' or other social inadequacies.

Ok, if you have a medical problem, it is very easy to get a card. Get a copy of your medical records, make an appointment and pay the nice doctor. The state card is NOT necessary unless you wish to visit the clubs. I don't! Our local cops are corrupt, to put it at its nicest. I don't trust them as far as I could toss the courthouse!

The truth on the matter is in some major cities of california, there are pot co-ops. To be allowed to use them you have to go to a doctor (there are certain doctor's advertised for it even) and complain of any ailment, say pot works for you and badda-bing you are a "legal" pot smoker.

The pot in the clubs tends to be more expensive then on the street. The advantages are safety (unless you are in there during a raid), quality control and selection. I've heard of herb's costing $200 an 1/8. I like a certain kush that costs $75 an 1/8 and it is worth it. There is cheaper herb, but you can get that on the streets for a much lower price.

There is a nice overflow of pot the that clubs can't hold onto that gets sold to dealers. A bunch of 18 year olds with pot cards is a good thing in my opinion, maybe they won't have to face the bullshit of getting arrested.

the herb i like is called westside OG. It is a really powerful kush. Perfect vape weed.

Oh and what I am trying to say is there is certain high quality stuff that you can't get on the streets, but there is lower quality (still PRIMO herb) herb for a higher price (55-601/8) that can be bought for like $40 an 1/8 from a dealer.
