This has to be one of the sacriest movies ever. i watched it for the third time on shrooms and it was 1000x scarier. A must see movie. I think the only way you can watch it is by downloading because apparently it was taken out of theatres for too much gore but im not 100% sure.

I don't understand why they take things out of theaters like that, why not just rate it more appropiatly, or have a violence warning. I really don't understand why people get so offended by profanity and gore. That has never made any sense to me.

I agree, The Descent is one of the scariest movies about at that time. I saw it about a year or so ago on DVD and though it was amazing, so amazing I have watched it 4 times scince, to date. It's fu**in' ace when there in the cave and she (the acor) is on the video camera videoing them freaking out about what they "think" is going on, and she moves the camera slowly to the right and stood behing them is one of the monster's, literally, it's mouth was wide open and about 1 inch from the back of her head. Deffo one of my favorite bit's of the film

Its a class movie considering they are all unknown actors with an all woman cast (not in the sexist way by any means) and it's there first attemt at a big time release.

So in summery, The Descent is a cool and on the scary rating (10: being scary and 1: being "Bambi") I think it's wel worth an 8.5 and maybee more, depending on if your in the dark, at night, and it's the first time you have seen it. :eek:

i have it on DVD... and its a damn good movie, i'm slightly claustriphobic (sp?) so it wasnt the most comfortable movie for me to watch

Lol i shit my pants at that part. Yea the movie was made in the uk so of course its gonna do good there. It barely had any cinema time in canada before the stopped showing it. If a movie is scary, and ur a whimp, dont watch it. fuckin simple

every girl cept the butch girl in this movie was sexyyyy. sexy milfs and flesh eating cave demons, what else could u ask for? 12 out of 10.

watched it the other day, pretty good movie, but not scary... only one part made me jump, and i jumped far less then my friend or my wife (my friend almost literally jumped outta the chair lmao) nice n gorey, just the way i like it (when they had push the bone back in looked painful as fucking hell)

I watched this a few months ago with a couple of friends, and coming from a person who got freaked out by The Ring, it wasn't very scary. I agree with slipknotpsycho on the part where they push the bone back in... ick... graphic but excellent haha:thumbsup:
