so i just got an xbox from my dad and i was wondering if anyone knew any games for it that are fun. please dont say HALO HALO HALO 100 times. something fun and easy. or hard, but fun:D

Fable kicks ass, Doom 3 is pretty good, and I hate to say it but Halo kicks major ass, and Star Wars battlefront 2 is sweet!!

You'd have to tell us what types of games you are into, but innevitably it's a matter of personal prefference. And no matter what game you choose, you'll always find people declaring it the greatest game in the history of games, while others call the same game the worst game they've ever played. But, if you're interested in my pics:

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic (1 and 2, but definately play 1 first)

Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (and soon to be released "Double Agent")

Halo 1 has a beautiful single player, but Halo 2's is awful IMO (much too linear, very closed in environments, the vehicles and physics are ruined, you can't "feel" the weapons like in Halo1, overall the whole experience is charge in and blast away, rather than figuring out different ways to approach a vast-environment situation).

Jade Empire (absolutely beautiful environments, and tonnes of ancient chinese philosophy, culture, and mythology).

I love you. You just perfectly described my dislikes of halo 2. I mean. EXACTLY. :) No one else i've talked to has gotten it...so this is pretty funny to me.

I think everyone's listed it, although I can't wait for Fable 2 on the 360 (just bought one). I'm hoping they actually make Halo 3 decent, we'll have to see...

Out of all the games I have, the only one that the girls I know have been able to actually pick up and play (besides Super Mario, WHA WHA!) is Fable. Because it's really simplistic. You can just walk around and kill stuff, lol.

Grand Theft Auto might be fun for you, too, maybe...?

And if all else fails, my friend, just get a cool version of Tetris and have at it!

As for halo 3, it's too early to speculate yet, but I think it will at least exceed Halo 2. They're bringing back the old pistol, and more importantly, the vast environments. Several levels are going to be 14 square killometers, all fully accessible.

and just speculating here, but I have to wonder if they'll include a human "banshee". Back when Halo 2 was just rumors and we were downloading the little bits of pieces of videos around the web, it was said that they were planning on a human fighter, they're own "banshee" if you will.
