Hey all,
This is a strange request.
I live in New England and I've been having a problem using sumac bushes for cover outdoors because they turn color at the slightest hint of cold in the air, leaving my green cannabis plants hanging out like sore thumbs.
I want something that is going to be easier to hide.
I'm looking for a strain or landrace variety that has dark bronze or purple foliage in all phenos.
It's the ONLY thing I care about, other than it has to finish before the middle of October.
Thanks guys and gals.

Just kinda looking around for ya, stinky. Seein' what i can see, ya know?
Purple#1 (http://www.planetskunk.com/marijuana_seeds.php/cPath/3/products_id/35) looks like it has possibilities for you.
Sheherazade (http://www.planetskunk.com/marijuana_seeds.php/manufacturers_id/19/products_id/192) seems kinda dark, but it's a little hard to be sure from the pic.
Lavender (http://www.planetskunk.com/marijuana_seeds.php/manufacturers_id/20/products_id/203) looks pretty good from the pic.
I'm thinking that Rock Bud (http://www.planetskunk.com/marijuana_seeds.php/manufacturers_id/20/products_id/199) would be perfect for you. A fast bloomer that finishes in about 8 weeks.
Black Cherry (http://www.cannaseur.com/asp/product.asp?recorprod=1&product=481&cat=145&ph=&keywords=&recor=1&SearchFor=&PT_ID=1) is very yellow and purple. It's a AirbG13 x C99 X Ort x C99 X Blkberry x CherryAk cross, if that means ought to you.
Orange Velvet Bx (http://www.cannaseur.com/asp/product.asp?recorprod=11&product=491&cat=145&ph=&keywords=&recor=1&SearchFor=&PT_ID=1)will turn a Vibrant Maroon when exposed to cooler night temps almost turning black just before harvest.
I'm not sure about Powerplant (http://www.cannaseur.com/asp/product.asp?recorprod=1&product=107&cat=89&ph=&keywords=&recor=1&SearchFor=&PT_ID=1). It doesn't seem to have much in the way of green, but the pic could be misleading.
One called Sandstorm (http://javascript<b></b>:popupWindow('http://www.seedboutique.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=509')) seems to have incredibly dark purple leaves, but it's got a lot of white too, so I'm not sure about it. Looks sweet as hell though, man.
Biddy Early (http://javascript<b></b>:popupWindow('http://www.seedboutique.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=524')) is pretty purple.
Sweet Purple (http://javascript<b></b>:popupWindow('http://www.seedboutique.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=210')). A very strong, rather tall plant with hue¦s of purple and pink, that tastes like strawberries. And it's cheap, man. $26 for a pack of 10 at Gypsy's.
Amethyst Bud (http://javascript<b></b>:popupWindow('http://www.seedboutique.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=279')) is a mix of Lavender Bud and Afghani Hawaiian so the dark purple color from the purple Kush part of it's genetics comes through.
That's about the best I can do for now. If I happen across anything that looks likely that I ain't got here I'll try to remember to report it to you with a link, eh?

Or maybe you could just give them high nitrogen fertilizer, like bat guano, to make the leaves greener.

That's not the point-
Overdosing on N can kill the plants anyway.
I'm looking for something that will blend in with colorful fall foliage.

Yer welcome, stinky. I ain't seen anything else that shows any promise yet, but then, I ain't been looking really. LMAO
Just finished giving my hydro a total clean out and fresh solution made with the brand new nutes I just got. Good nutes this time. Not the prepackaged crap that came with the system.
I will keep an eye out though, and maybe you could let me know what you think of any of those yummy looking strains you might pick. I admit to being very curious about them. 'Specially the one that are high sativa.

Still working on this fun project, here's what I found:
Purple cough
Amethyst bud
Blueberry ? (I thought it was green!)
Homegrown Purple
Kilimanjaro
Lavender
Somango/soma#5
Twilight
Hawaiian Okole
Anyone who has grown one of these, or another with SOLID dark foliage, or one of Tommygirl's other recommendations, input is appreciated.

I think any of the purps should be alright for you ... Now, my own plant has solid dark foliage, buuuut it was bagseed.
A pure indica should have the DARK green colour your looking for, shouldnt stick out. I know what you mean though.

Consider selfing it for steath outdoor?
