Do the cuttings turn brown and die before coming back to life as a clone? Do they stay lush and green? My clones are a week old and look wilted and brown *pout*
Thanks

How long before they turned brown?
I just took two cuttings tonight, so I hope they root. I used a rooting hormone and will keep them warm and misted. So far they are nice and green still but it's still very early :)

1. they either have to be in a Humidity Dome or
2. have to be sprayed about every 2 hours during light hours or( could also burn the leaves if u have HIDs)
3. Buy some stuff called Wilt spray usually sold at HD that stuff is good because it keeps young clones from tilting over, I forgot the name but it has Wilt on the Name very easy to find, its sold in the garden section:thumbsup:

Wilt-Pruf.
And give them some subculture in the water to prevent rot.

Cloning:
Must have:
Dome (Keep humid)
Medium (peat pellets or rockwool)
Hygrozyme
Rooting Gel
Rooting Solution (Bcuzz Root)
Keep the medium moist, not soaked, moist....
Keep the dome on the whole time as much as possible...
24 hour light....Ideally flourescent
Its easy.............................................. read articles about horticultural cloning of normal non smoked plants.....plants are simple...keep it simple!
GROW TWICE AS MANY AS YOU NEED! Sell the rest to friends!

or ya could build your self a hydro cloner, buy a "cutting board" or a rain forest cloner from general hydroponics!
cheaper than all these options is a BOOK!
a real cheap small easy to read book is called green harvest, cant remember the authors name right now, check it out and stop killing them poor little clones! Zandor has a book available too here!
read first experiment later
