Ok so im in this science fiction class (which turned out to be lame as hell) with a bunch of straight edge geeks except for a couple of my friends. So on monday my teacher says to us we have a 1500 word essay due thurseday, and im not even done with the book were reading. So that cuts my working time down to 2 days. on the syllabus it says were not even supposed to be done with the book until wednesday.
if anyone has read the book "Rendezvous with Rama", the question shes asking is what do the Ramans look like... you dont evne get to see them in the book. Meaning im going to have to bullshit like 4 pages worth of material. should be fun!
I fucking hate this teacher with a passion. i swear shes either half retarded or she comes to school drunk.
anyway, im just venting...
peace

word. If I smoke a joint, the idea's just seem to flow on the paper. Give it a try and if it doesn't help, just try to do it sober. 1500 words really isn't that much...

Yeah, sounds like college alright. Hey, it's the hard times that make you smarter anyways, right?
1500 is easily 2 or 3 pages. Not hard, just tedious. Don't wait until the last minute, though. Sooner is always better than later, I learned that lesson the hard way.

LOL!! This is too rich! I will trade places with someone; I'll do your work if you do mine. Tomorrow is Wednesday so you have to get back to me quickly. By Friday, I need:
1. A 200 page legal document shortened to less than 20 pages (front and back) that clearly explains the legal process and company process that is to be followed pertaining to this document. You'll also need to take screen shots and put together a training packet for this project.
2. 1 signoff from a General Manager/VP in New Jersey to proceed with a project that will bill $3million by the end of the year. Oh, but the VP is away on business and an onery type.
3. 2 single paged, double-sided documents to be used as reference material. The information will need to be culled from 3 different corporate databases and will have to be written so it is a 'national' document but addresses all the specifics relative to individual states.
4. 1 Power-point preso that will be presented to Directors, VPs, and EVPs that breaks down the 50+ projects my team has worked on this year, their current status, captured revenue, and next steps.
That is all due on Friday by COB (Close of Business)
On Monday, I have a hot item that is due first thing in the morning. I'll need the addresses for approx. 6300 accounts in one state so they can be loaded on to a Excel spreadsheet by the end of the week. I might need to mention that the addresses will need to be filtered to eliminate duplicates and the project initiation to correct these accounts needs to start no later than 2 weeks after the spreadsheet is complete...but you have no funding.
If someone can get that done for me in the alloted timeframes, I will gladly write a book review, term paper, research paper, whatever; as well as guarantee a grade on the paper of no less than a B/3.0/8 out of 10/or whatever grading scale your school uses.
Deal?

it WOULD be easy if i could focus and get it all done, but ill likely be stoned and ill likely have music on and ill likely find other things that are more interesting... all this are my problems so ohh well, guess ill just have to sit down and do it. man its still gonna suck though, for me at least.
1500 words isnt even that long of a paper, dont call an english teacher gay for assigning a paper, what the hell were you expecting, its an english class.

Aw, that's not too bad. You got 3 days until it's due. Unless it's a 400 page book, you could sit down and read that thing in 2 or 3 couple of hour sessions, then a day and half to write the report.
It would be different if you had to research a topic and write an essay on it in 3 days, then I could see the bind, but I can sit down and read a 200pg book in a matter of a few hours, in one sitting.
Good luck.
