Hey,

I made a post yesterday because I was going to take in a buddies plants, to dry and cure them...well, I found out today, that they are not done.

I just got the plants...I have 7 plants, 2 are in 3 gallon pots and one is pretty big, the other smaller, and the other 5 are in syrofoam cups at the momment (plan to move these to bigger pots).

I havent grown in along time and didnt really have much knowledge at that time either.

Anyway, I cleaned out a room, set up the 2 bigger pots on the ground and the other small stryofoams on a table...i have a light, and have no idea what it is. Its a basic setup, with 2 lights, one is flouresant and the other is yellow...not to sure on watts or what kind.

I dont know where I am at the momment, but belive its in its flowering stage....and want to know what do I do from here?

I take it, put the light on a 12/12 cycle and go from there? I am going to get pics...but at the momment...no pictures.

Each plant, has a few buds popping out here and there, some really nice looking bud's also.

please help

first of all you need to make sure these buds are female flowers and not males as you do not want a rouge male pollenating your crop.you are right about the 12/12 but in the dark cycle make sure it stays dark as the smallest amount of light could delay harvest...what kind of lights are you using and a bit info on nutes plz

read some grow guides on the internet or buy a grow book, u need to find out what wattage light you have and what kind, because if the lights aren't sufficient you will have lousy buds. Keep the lights on 12/12 cycle to the end from now, have you killed the males, if not, it may be too late from your description. but do it anyway. There is too much for me to explain, you need adequate ventilation for your grow area, are you using flowering ferts? most ferts tell you what the NPK ratio is on the back, look for a high Phosphate content or P content. make sure no light gets on the plants during their dark period. I water the plants when I stick my finger into the soil and it is dry, do not overwater and do not over fertilise. If you do some reading, you should do fine but seeing as you already have the plants you don't have much time. good luck

hey,

well these plants have been growing outisde since may. 100 were planted, but deer ate away at alot of them.

these 7 i have, are the best of the plants (7 more still growing outdoors, and going to be brought here also)

tomorrow i want to get all the plants in 3 gal pots. at the momment, heres what i got setup.

i got them all on a table except for the biggest of the big plant, which is pretty tall. i dont have any chains at the momment, but i do have this huge stand which was used before for "fans". anyways i have that propped up...with the 2 lights on the plants...i am going to leave it on for 12 hours, then leave in dark.

i plan to have the light on during the day....and have it off at night. its a pretty dark room, i have a blanket over the window. and am about to put garbage bags over that, to make sure therees TOTAL darkness.

i am going to get pictures, so we can see where we are at. I am almost 100% sure, that these are all females.

well ive had the lights on for the last 6 hours....got it setup so theres a decent amount of light to each plant....one bulb the one that is yellow/orange says 20w whatever that means...and the other is your basic flouresant......he is giving me another light tomorrow (hopefully a hps), but who knows.

if my lights are horse shit..anyone got any advice to getting a decent crop from sitty lights....by the way, whenever i get the pics up, youll see, they do actually look good, buds looking like alot ive seen posted on here in similar stages of the flowering...

I would say that if they were outside, they are most likely almost ready to harvest. As for the little ones in the cups, they are going to have to be put in pots probably soon and you will need to get some better lighting. Do you have a budget, if so how much, and do you live in a city with garden stores. Depending on how commited you are going to be on this project, you may be in for quite a bit of work. How many plants are there all in total?
If the buds look ready on the bigger ones I would take a clipping to smoke and decide weather or not you should just harvest all of the buds on those particular plants. Let us know if you get a real light.
