I personally cant roll for shit, when im smoking on my own I even stoop as low as using a rolling machine, such is the completely unsmokable quality of my joints.

I was just wondering how many of you guys and gals are the usual roller of your crew/posse/stoner circle.

I've been known to roll a nice cone in my days. Of my posse there are several able rollers and I, while adept at rolling, usually take a back seat to the more passionate posse members.

I have a friend who absolutely LOVES to roll joints while he's "fucked off his tits," lol. He's damn good, too.

I roll when I can but my I've developed a disorder in my hands so I can very, rarely roll, so I just use a rolling machine.

I remeber when I used to get drunk my the hands would be fine. That was one of the temp. cures for my disorder, was alcohol, but not good for obvious reasons. 12 beer in me and I could roll like crazy.

Uuum, I got mine for about 5-7 pounds. i think pounds are roughly worth twice as much as dollars atm. They are pretty easy to use, but a bit unpredictable as to the quality of j. Ive rolled some beauts with it and some real stinkers.

The first 4 months of me smoking, I couldn't roll for shit. i just sat in my room, practicing making the skins, and rolling for hours on end with tobacco.
Now 7 times outta 10, I can roll perfect cones, slow burning and burn even.
Still get the odd newbie cones, but hey, they all smoke.

Just practice in the free time you have, when not high, it helps a lot :)

Eh, I can roll, not as well as I wish. I plan to eventually perfect my skill and become that guy who rolls perfectly every time. Once I'm 18, I'm definitely buying a fat sack of bacco and using an entire pack of papers to practice rolling.

I learned by rolling cigarettes in my late teens. A mindless affectation, but it was good practice.

Prior, my best rolling "machine" was one of those cheap plastic ones with the movable roller and plastic belt. I don't remember what it cost, but it was really simply made and inexpensive.

Key element in rolling is your choice of papers and how you locate the overlapped bit.

But now that I see what we're really talking about, I must fess up and say I absolutely suck at rolling anything, be they joints or blunts. Just can't do it, so I smoke out of glass almost exclusively. A few friends however have skills, and when I smoke with them they usually roll nice fat joints that burn just perfectly.

No one in my group can effin roll joints or blunts or anything except me. I don't do the greatest job, but it's always an even, slow smoke. They're usually a bit loose, but they've been getting tighter since I started practicing a couple months ago, lol.
We always use bowls or bongs when we smoke, usually just bowls. Bowls are quick to smoke and don't smell up your hands as bad. The only downside is you have to be carrying paraphrenalia on you when you use bowls.

I can roll PERFECT joints as long as we're using over 2 grams. I can't roll perfect joints unless they're huge, for some reason.

The first joint I ever rolled was fantastic, just perfect. And then...they all sucked after that. Until I started using a dollar bill as a tool to aid me, and now they're all good, but I still suck if I don't use a bill or piece of paper to help me spread the pressure out and get even tightness along the length of the joint. I only roll joints for the woman for her to smoke by herself, or if I'm going to a hippie festival or something. Myself and my friends generally smoke out of pipes, but one of my friends rolls amazingly perfect joints so when we need joints, he's the man. But any of us can produce a smokeable joint if we have to.

Yeah. I just use a rolling machine made from a company called Zen. It costed me :D $20 here at the local headshop. All I do is put a paper in the machine, put the busted up weed in the empty slot part, and lightly push it down, so you don't get a loose joint. Lick the glue, close the lid, and out pops out of the slot in the top part of a case is perfectly rolled joint.

It's handy, but if you have the ability to use your hands to roll, then learn. It's quicker and easier. I used to be able to spin one up in about a minute. Paper, grass, roll, lick, and smoke. Just like that. :smokin:

Yeah about the same for me but now six mounths later i roll a perfect blunt with one or two rolls. But in the skeems of my friends i am probly 2nd or third; my boy can roll a blunt one handed driving down the freway (safely, not like a jerk), and the blunt was beter than my blunts.

Blunts, perhaps, but regular rolling papers that are flavoured are horrible. They taste good when you lick and seal them up, but when burning, it taste bad, really bad.

if you do then jucy jays are probably the ones to go for, they taste ok but there a bit thick. you could risk the liquorice (sp?) rizlas, there the easyest to get, but most people i know either love em or hate em and the majority of them are in the hate camp

nobody just wake up a morning pick up a paper and start making cones and tulips. When i first started to smoke, non of my lazy-ass friends would bother with rolling. They just let someone else to do the dirty job. Didnt like at all so i started rolling. The first tries were pathetic, sometimes i would use another layer of paper to patch the holes. Practice makes perfect.
