I dont' know how many people actually read the cannabis news here on the sight but this is hilarious. the government is uploading their anti-drug commercials to youtube.
"If just one teen sees this and decides illegal drug use is not the path for them, it will be a success," said Rafael Lemaitre, a spokesman for the drug office."
and
"The government linked its videos with the terms "war on drugs," "peer-pressure," "marijuana," "weed," "ONDCP" and "420," so anyone searching for those words on YouTube could find its anti-drug messages. All the videos were associated with a YouTube account named "ONDCPstaff" and identified as an 18-year-old living in Washington. The term 420 is a popular reference for marijuana."

hahahaa, shit, the right-wing anti-pot people always crack me up. If they would actually smoke the stuff, and realize that it's a wonderful, relaxing and mind-expanding experience, maybe they'd shut the fuck up.

Maybe they do smoke it and it makes them paranoid... that would help explain the problem with foreign policy.

What was that quote from Rush Limbaugh about drug offenders deserving tougher jail time before he got busted? And who was that Senator who pushed through mandatory sentencing; then his son gets caught with two pounds of hash at an airport, and gets off with a $500 fine?

The war on drugs is waged against the working class humps like us....just like every other 'War' they declare.

... I know, I wish they'd declare "War" on themselves and give evolution a fighting chance.

Umm, it's pretty clear the capitalist ruling parties in this country both care very dearly about cash, and if either one of them really cared about protecting our health we might not be the only industrialized country without universal health care.
