Just came from taking my test at LabCorp, of course I was nervous as hell when I went in. I got there, they made me wait about 15 mins before I went into the lab. Once I got in the lab they made me fill out some paperwork, then the collector walked me into the bathroom;told me I had 4 minutes and then left. There was no supervision and I was able to lock the door.

Once he left, I went to work like MacGyver. :)

Please take TWO bottles with you when you go. YOU WILL NEED THEM BOTH.

Now I'm nervous as hell about this shit working. Does it work?? Has anyone ever failed using QF 4.0?

I'll keep the board updated on how it turns out.

Peace

Yes it works. You only need 1 bottle. If the lab tech says they need more than 60 cc's they are messing with you. If you came out of the bathroom with a 60 cc sample they have to accept 60 cc's. Some techs know about quick fix and will try to scare people by asking for more but they have to accept a 60 cc sample. A split sample (two vials of urine an A and B sample) only requires 30 and 15 cc. They can do two 30 cc samples if they chose to but no more. This is from a person who owns a collection site.

Thanks for the info.

He did do a split sample, when he was finished with that he told me to pour the rest out in the toilet. He just drew a line on the cup and said, "hit that line". That cant be a "standard"?

Those cups are marked like a measuring cup. If it is not a split sample he should have drawn the line on the 30 cc mark. If it is a split sample he should have drawn it on the 45. On the split sample he can draw it at 60 but no more than that. Since a split sample requires 30 for the A sample and 15 for the B 45 is all that is needed. Some techs will ask for the 60 then fill both the A and B with 30 cc's so in effect either sample could be the A or the B interchangably. Also, if the tech is in the know about subbers then asking for 60 cc's can make it harder. I'm pretty sure QF 4.0 is 60 cc's or 2 ounces.

I passed.

Quick Fix 4.0 works.

If your dirty and have to test, get some Quick Fix 4.0. You will pass. As long as you give it to them at the right temp, you have passed. No need to worry.

Next time I test, I will read this board. 5.0 might be out by then.
