My seedlings looked weak from the get go and frankly I was jealous of pics people posted of their young plants that were 3x the size of mine. I got this Ph meter in the mail Friday. The soil tested alkaline but my well water tested acid. So even though I had read this is one of the most common mistakes of first time growers, I went ahead and tried fidling with the soil Ph. I stated just trying to adjust my water and should have left it at that. "Idle hands are the devils playground" I guess. I had bought some sulphur cause the nursery guy said that was good to lower Ph. and I read where vinegar will do in a pinch. I had added a bit of really diluted vinegar a few days ago and the plants seemed to react well. So, being the idiot I am, I spinkled some sulphur on the soil (1 tbsp./pot) and miixed it with my finger. Then I took this little dog medicine syringe I had, rinsed it out, and proceeded to put about 20mls. of really diluted vinegar around my plants. I woke up yesterday to find 3 plants pretty shriveled up and the 4th not looking good either. Those 3 are all but totally dead now and the 4th is looking pretty sickly. I tried to flush but seedling can't take much and it din't help . Lesson learned, leave seedlings absolutly alone during the first three weeks and use a good soil mix.
I knew that but really fucked up. A lot of 1st time growers do fuck up. I have to look at this as a learning thing and not the doom you feel when your shit dies. I have other seeds and will totally start from scratch with different soil. These will be regular indoor bred seeds anyway.

I meant to ask somebody who knows about superthrive. I've read where two drops to a gasllon of water is good but then I read where somebody adds a couple drops directly to the plants. So whats the right way to use it? I got some coming in the mail either today or tomowrrow.

Well now you know what the symptoms of pH stress are.
Good info for the future.
Don't add superthrive directly to the plants, add it to your diluted fertilizer as directed.

Yeh, add the Super Thrive to the water. About the PH, the lesson you learned may help you to be more precautious when other things happen as well. I think that there is a thread in the Basic Growing section titled Things I shouldn't have done" or something like that it is a sticky I believe. Every grower should read it IMO.
