I recently upgraded my grow room to a pair of hurricane 6" 630 cfm blowers. One for exahaust and one for the intake. My temp problems are a memory now. The plants love the rush of fresh air. Im quite happy with the results.

Only thing, the blowers make a lot of noise. Any advice to hush em up would be greatful.

Many thanks:thumbsup:

I have been growing with my grow room door open to get fresh air. I'm gonna make it stealth now. But if I close the door, it gets too hot. What size room do you have and where did you get the fans?

I was leaving my door open before I bought the fans. The fans are pushing a lot air. plants are growing much faster now. they are noisy thou.

you can hang your fans on strings or bungy cords. It will stop vibration noise if thats what your hearing

Lol I grew with my patio door open all night, had a bar wedged so only a little crack was there. Then u know what, I lived near a park and one day I came downstairs at night to get a drink of water and I saw a big ass rat run in onto my counter and up on top of my cupboards dont be leavin the door open. Get some AC and a dehumdifer close the door, keeps more control over the room, fruit flies, god forbid spider mites. (get a wireless temp gauge so you can place the digital read out anywere convient for you).
Cause da can fan sounds like a jet taking off. Before I got reduced to microgrowin I had a decent garage grow.

Get insulated ducting I found some to fit my 8in diameter can fan at home depot, or yard birds, lowes. I put it up through the ceiling. Dont get aluminum hella louder. Also It helped I put my fan on thermostat, before that it was on a timer for 15min intervals of my choosing or just to go off in the middle of the day when it is normally most noisiest from traffic, peoples, ac etc.

Yeap, it does sound like a jet. I bought a varable speed for the fan, turn it down a bit. Im using aluminum ducking now, I will change to insulation duck this weekend. I was wondering about that. Timer sounds like a good idea to. Great ideas, thanks:thumbsup:
