Well, right now im going through a big thing with my mom because she doesn't want me smoking pot. I am grounded right now for 1 month (about 2 weeks in) for getting caught. Now tonight she went out with my dad to mexican food. As soon as they left I smoked a bowl of Jack Herer (if you didn't know, its like $500 an oz, its amazing shit). About 5 miniutes after smoking it I get a call, "Put on pants were going to sushi, the mexican place looked bad." I was like, oh fuck. I went out and not only did I play it off, but I got to go out tommorrow night even though im grounded.

DUDE, I got grounded too for smoking weed, and it's a big thing. It was my second time, first time i got caught only grounded fro about 1 week, cause she figured I was gonna stop blazin'. But I did blaze about 1 month after i first got caught and have been since then (about a year now). And she figured out I have been hiding this the whole time, and she was so "disapointed". So now it's friday, im 16 got a weekend ahead of me, and I got a fresh gram sitting here. Contemplating sneaking out and goin to a buddies to blaze, or blazing out my window.



But anyways what type of stuff does your mom say why she doesn't want you smoking.

my mom says the following

Kills braincells/"Morphs" your brain, at a young age.
Illegal.
It's a drug so it's deemed "bad" and frowned down upon.

nice. I kinda got caught tonight, but I just denied it. I didn't get punished the first time I got caught, just lectured, but I'm not in trouble now either so its cool.

Sucks you guys get in trouble... my parents dont really care, my dad smoked pot and he always steals my pipes lol, and my mom has even given me money so i can buy weed... she believes that if im responcible then its ok, and shes also for it cause i quit drinking and shed rather have me smokin pot then drinkin.

Same here, sadly. This would be the 3rd time I've gotten "caught", if you will. It's a fucking shame that we have to deceive our parents like this.

Explain further..

She tells me she doesn't want me smoking, and that once I get my 40 volunteer hours for school (you need them to graduate) and once I get a job then im ungrounded.

Main reasons she doesn't want me smoking, is because

She doesn't want me to be "one of those pot smokers", "my brain is still developing", "it wont help me get motivated", "its illegal"

Can anyone give defense statements for all of those?!?!

on a some what related note: have their ever been times you guys were really blazed then something unexpected happened? good example my sister was at her friends house on a snowy night and the roads were shit. i just got done toking on a homemade bong when my dad asks "you wanna go pickup your sister?" i said no but the decision was already made for me and i had to go anyways. i ended up on my neighbors lawn for a moment.

Oh man, I know what you mean. Luckily I've never been in that sort of a situation. But the other night, my mom was like "Hey, I'm gonna go get some gas then go to your sisters" so I figure I'll smoke up. So I pull a few gravs at like, 6:20, and I'm done by 6:30, next thing I know its 7:00 and my mom is home. Like, wtf, it should have taken her 15min to get to my sisters and 15min back, and shes back already. Apparently she just wen't out to get gas, came back for like 5-10min then wen't back out to go to my sisters. Soon as I realized she was home I ran to the bathroom, put some eye drops in, and wen't to my room to play on my computer. She came in and did that annoying *SNIFF*, *SNIFF* thing and told me it smelled like smoke, "I'm allergic to smoke" (she smokes cigs...but i was too high to notice this hypocritical statement) and I was just like "I didn't light anything" and she left for my sisters.

i almost got caught yesterday, i left my bubbler sitting on my dresser by accident and i left it there all day, my dad got home before my mom did and he hid it away for me so my mom wouldnt see it

My mom says the same thing how its bad for u but its even worse at a young age it "affects a young devoloping brain". iIf u ever have a chance give your mom the pros and cons of pot/alcohol, and if u do some research uw ill see that alcohol is soo much worse. Hopefully your mom will also see the same.

Make copies of the abstracts and pass them around to friends. This is info that most of you could use when arguing with your parents. Education about scientific progress is a good thing. ;) May I suggest getting a vaporizer? It cuts the smell down to almost zero! It's also healthier for your lungs and you use less pot to get high.
