dry with least damage to trichromes

what is the best way to dry buds so that i will maintain as many of the crystals as possible? i have been reading some past post- talk of in paper and drawers- i thought that buds needed to not touch anything so crystals would not be knocked off= need feedback

ya, i've never dried weed. but when i do i plan to cut down large branches and hang them. this way not to touch any of the buds. any touching will damage them

When you cut, leave lots of stem attached.
Handle only by stem.
Do initial trimming while still 'wet'.
Hang to dry.
Only handle when you absolutely have to.
