All the leaves on the bottom half of my plants have curled up and died. Also the plants are growing very slowly. Is this an N deficiency. I've been using Miracle Grow (15-30-15) fertilizer.
Should I use a fertilizer with more N? What brands do people recommend?
Thanks.

how old and how tall is your plant? if it is young, the bottom leaves naturally die.

The plants are over 3 months old. One plant is 33 inches and the other is 21 inches. There aren't that many leaves left on either one. They aren't growing very fast. Whenever I put them under HPS light the tops start dying so I still have them under fluorescents. I was hoping to get them to a decent size and then switch back to HPS but so far I don't think they could take it.
Thanks for your response.

ditch the miracle grow, get something along the lines of 30-15-10, and then 5-5-10 for flowering. I can't remember any brands off the top of my head, it's been a couple years since I last thought about it.
