My plants are 5 weeks into flowering and I just noticed today that the mites have came back.. What can I do to stop them or should I just let them live, will this ruin crop if I let them live?

I think its to late now for them to do any serious damage ... also using pyrethrum will prolly ruin ur smoke, the best thing i can think of right now is to use some insecticide soap wash but be very carefull with it cause u may get mold in ur buds ... hopefully some more experienced growers or growers that have had the same prob that u do will stop by and give u a more clear idea of what to do ... good luck

I forgot to mention, the spider-mites have worked their way up to the tops of the plants. So basically, the whole plant is infected. Thanks in advance.

whats up i had the same exact problem, about 3 weeks ago dont know where they came from but they were there pretty bad so i did a lot of research about the bug methods of death for the bug old wives bs untill i found this product from the company hot shots. there called no pest strips. i was iffy about chemicals but the plants were suffering bad and it was either end their misery or try it. i did and the shit worked 2 weeks later no mite on any plant at all they dissapeared and my plants bounced back with no ill effects i paid 6 bucks a peice at home depot, they look like air freshners, the only other imediate remedy is preditor mites. they work good but i didnt want to wait for the mail or not buy enough. anyways thats what i did good luck.
I think I have heard ladybugs are good mite assassins too. But then, you can't just go to WalMart for ladybugs either....:p
