Will calyxes grow during the dark period at all?

One of my plants is just barely starting to show sex on one of the nodes, and it didn't seem to grow much when the lights were on, so I was wondering if after the twelve hours of darkness it may grow a bit? The suspense is killing me.

It will keep growing.
When the lights come back on I bet the calyxes will be bigger.
