Homemade Air Scrubber?

So I'm working on building a cabinet for my first time grow and I would like some input about air filtration. I know you can buy products online specifically made for this, but I was wondering if anyone could help me out with building my own. I'm only planning on growing a few plants, no more than four, so I don't need a huge air filter. Does anyone know how I can make one myself that is small, discreet, yet effective for a grow of my size?

Thanks mellogold for the link, but I've already seen that post and that's not quite the set up I want. I'm somewhat leary of using just water and Febreze to neutralize odors. I'm more looking for a homemade carbon/charcoal alternative to the expensive ones on line. Thanks for the input though.

i tried to type it up to make a carbon scrubber but my pc took a d ump on me and i didnt feel like retyping it all....lol damn mj...lol

but yea both will work well just make sure you got a blower that will make enough static pressure to actually make the carbon work
