I could actually see that in some weird way. Because when I had bronchitis these last couple weeks, when I smoked, I stopped coughing. Like I could actually feel my brain pulsing in my head because of the amount of pressure on my head because of the coughing.

But, once I smoked, I pretty much just stopped coughing all together for the next couple hours.

Honestly it's not that severe. MJ is much easier on the lungs than tobacco smoke as it is, at least from my experience (which is why i gave up smoking cigs completely.) The THC actually helps asthma patients due to it dilating the bronchial tubes and aveoli(sp?) sacs.
