Well, our lovely president gave a speech last night to the American public. While I'll try to limit my dislike for the man here, I thought the speech was just a rehash of everything he's said in every speech he's given since 9-11. While it was supposed to be a 9-11 memorial speech, it turned into 'freedom, terr'ists, peace, Saddam' and any other word he repeats constantly that I missed. Basically it was just a whoring out of 9-11.. what politicians AND the media has done for the last 5 years.

ANYWAYS, I'm posting this link... It's NOT of the president speaking, it's of Keith Olbermann on MSNBC before the president came on. Keith gave an excellent speech calling the president and this administration out. One of the first news anchors I've seen to actually have some balls.. While I think it's a little overdramatic at times, overall Keith gets his point across.

Just thought I'd post because I know many on this site are not fans of Bush.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdD6op0l2jk

Have a good one, everybody. Time for a little wake n bake.

Zeph............

My I say.............Fuck, Bush (no Pun) and Fuck Olbermann.

My Problem with olbermann, and kattie currick..... The Line between ENTERTAINMENT AND NEWS............... is getting blurred.

I used to watch keith on ESPN he should have stayed there....imo

THE LINE BETWEEN NEWS AND ENTERTAINMENT IS GETTING ERASED.

Olbermann......has an agenda.... left leaning, anti Bush, with a anti american slant...........

That Is not Journalism..... That Is PROPAGANDA.

Zeph... please find when Michael Savage is On the radio and listen to him.
Please..... He hates Bush too, but with a PROamerica slant.

Olberman nailed it on the head. Instead of having the dignity to keep it a memorial service; pathetically, Bush and his sorry-ass henchmen used the opportunity to try to sell the war. I suppose that's what we get when we elect opportunists.

If it were Bush I'd give him points for effort... It's really Cheney and Rove, with Bush as the mouthpiece.

But I really get a kick out of today's spin in Syria. Some straight-up Syrians decide to grow a pair and stop an attack on the U.S. embassay. So, what does Condi and the rest of the pack do? They FUCKING spin it! They acknowledge the "act of kindness" and then go on to say Syria needs to do more to stop terrorists.

In reality, yes, Syria needs to get with it and do that. But in geopolitical terms, WE need to accept the act of kindness and SAY NOTHING MORE THAN THANKS!!!!!! FUCKING PERIOD.

"SAY NOTHING MORE THAN THANKS!!!!!! FUCKING PERIOD."

Exactly....unfortunately this administration doesn't understand the fundamentals and dynamics of 'straight-up'. They're too busy schemeing and conniving like boris and natasha to carry themselves, and represent this country, with any sense of dignity and wisdom.
