I don't want to sound braggy or anything but, I did every report and paper my senior year in both Composition and Speech on marijuana. My final report entitiled Marihuana: Wonder Drug or Devil Weed was 16 pages of pure genius, lol.
I'd do the reasons why marijuana should be legal. Give reasons why it is a good thing, the good affects on the body and mind, ya know?
Edit: Give me a bit more to think about a different topic then, lol, sorry....:)
Just argue about something you're passionate about. You have to be passionate about one other thing, right?

Mabey you should write an essay on why the U.S hasn't been punished for invading Iraq without proper reasons. And is it possible to stop them from doing this again or any super power at that? Bush said himself that Iraq had NOTHING to do with the 9/11 attacks.

If it interests you, you could write about the 9/11 controversy and argue the facts that support a terrorist attack (versus a conspiracy). Assuming that interests you, of course.
You could easily spend 15 pages arguing the merits of organic foods versus conventional. Or vegetarianism. Or a national health care plan for America. (I'm guessing you're in the U.S.). Or the benefits of education. Or the importance of combatting poverty and illiteracy, which influence crime. Or on one side or another of the gay marriage issue. Or against cigarette smoking. Or in favor of exercise and nutrition programs to battle the increasing obesity epidemic in this country. Or animal welfare. Or abortion rights. Or environmental matters such as less reliance on fossil fuels. Or against terrorism. Or against the war in Iraq.
Gosh, the list goes on and on. I used to be an English teacher, so I can usually think of topics to write about. Probably my own interests were coloring many of those suggestions, but some of them might interest you, too. Now I'm a medical student, and I badly need to sign off and do my own homework, but I'm procrastinating. Working on someone else's homework is much more interesting!

That's an awfully long paper, by the way. Too long, if you ask me. I would like to meet any teacher/professor who truly intends to read and grade a stack of 15-page essays from a class full of students. I'm betting he/she doesn't intend to read them very closely, but perhaps I'm wrong. That's a lot of paper-grading he's setting himself up for.

Marijuana is probably the way Mexicans spelled it since J sounds like H. For example Juan isn't said Jewan, but Huan. So I guess some people use the H because it sounds more like it.

Well, where WE got mariJuana from is from the Mexican word mariHuana. In the Spanish language, there is actually more pronunciation on the HUAN part. Their word marihuana just means cannabis in Spanish.
Anyway, I never really looked into the title too closely. Just sort of came out the top of my head, ya know? It sounds better, I think, too haha.
