What do you guys think about CF lights?

I just got a new Compact flourescent light, 125W 6800 lumens. I wanted
to know if anyone has any experience with these, and what they think about them. http://www.wormsway.com/detail.asp?sku=CFSD110#

In my grow-room I also have 4 other Floro ballasts 48" each with 2 40W
grow lights in them, does all this add up to enough lights/lumens for
6 plants?

BTW... this light (the CF) is sooo bright it gave me a wicked headache just being in the room with it. Also, how close should it be? It is warmer than a regular Floro.

they will work very good for vegging, but will be slower for the flowering stage. i know, everyones gonna tell you to get a metal halide or high pressure sodium, but the floros will give you a good crop, just not as quick as expensive lights, plus the budding wont be as intense.
you should be able to get a decent crop none the less

you can put that light as close as possible to your plants, i sugest 2 inches away, maybe 3 inches
