All those extra stems

So, after a few years of all this smoking business, I have collected a large amount of stems and beaners. What should I do with all of this? I know the beaners I could grow if I really wanted to, but what about those stems? I heard that you could hash out of stems... Is that true?

There are many ways to extract all that thc goodness from the stems. I think bubble hash is probably the easiest way to make hash.

I seem to recall someone telling me that you could soak the stems in something like acetone for a day or two and then boiling it. After that there should be a sludge that you dry out and smoke like hash. Am I remembering this right?

Ahh that's hash oil, but it's a lot more dangerous when done incorrectly since your using alcohol which is flammable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubblehash info on bubblehash.

Howdy Weeden,

My gal is great at picking little chunks of weed off of the stems and we run the stems and beans through a flour sifter and git the fine stuff attatched to the beans and stems,and we usually git several doobies more,because of it. Our contact even saves the stems and beans for us and we git alot of weed out of them,that would have just been thrown away. Sometimes,it takes her an hour or two of picking,but in the end,we have something to smoke from it..we git our money's worth out of every bag,I tell ya what ! :thumbsup:

What fun! I know someone with a kif catcher in their grinder, so I might just try to grab as much kif as possible from by stems and try to make some hash... what an adventure!

if youve got a kif catcher grinder then grinding up the stems works really well, the big chunks of stems are left in the main bit and the kif goes into the kif bit..... surprisingly lol. doesnt take that long either

just soak your stems in vodka (or whichever spirit you prefer) for a couple weeks until the stems go sloppyish then seive them out and drink up, guarenteed to f*ck you up,
