These are 11 days from being planted and put under CFLs. :D
I would like to better document my grow this time around.
I will mostly just show pictures of my plants growing not really babble about them so much but feel free to comment.:pimp:
We're off to the races in the veg state.

You are off to a good start  To me, plants so much better in their first couple of weeks under CFL's rather than a strong hot light.
I see you paid $.73 cents for those nice looking terra pots :D

Bodom Children Of
09-08-2006, 09:25 PM
They were all planted at the same time, they just sprouted at different times.
These plants are going to be under CFLs from start to finish. I'm poor.
Those terra pots are perfect for seedlings and easy on the budget!
A couple days later and you see the growth!
Will update in another couple days or if i get bored :stoned:

09-09-2006, 06:02 AM
I used some CD cases as well but then I upgraded to my old rusty barbell weights for height adjustments. I also use a gallon of paint can to station my light fixture allowing all four lights facing outward around the can with a plant or two under each bulb. You're better off growing with a ghetto setup than having to go to the ghetto to buy :)

Very nice, those pots will be fine until the plants are about double the size they are now.
When you transplant them you will discover why I don't use terra cotta pots. The root ball slides out of PLASTIC with much less damage.

Damn, well this will be the last time I will use them. I plan on buying some square pots from the hydro store. These clay(terra cotta?) pots are just some that were lying around the house. I have 3 more plastic pots with holes for tying during LST...those will do much better with my other 3 seedlings:thumbsup:

Ok so I've run into a few minor problems but grow is still going ok.:smokin:
I was skeptical at first but i think the foil tape I used in the grow box is creating hot spots on my plants.
I also haven't had any funds to get anything for my plants.
That's about all....they do seem to be growing well:thumbsup:
The second pic is of my old cat...she's from the streets but old age is catching up with her...she keeps getting her ass whipped...I've seen her whoop some dog ass and kill alot of animals but now i feel bad for her.
Perhaps i should add some cannabis to her diet...
I also but the plants on 18/6 light cycle after being on 24/0 since planted

Hey, Bodom Children Of...good grows, man. Definitely. Just had to stop by to say HI. Checked out some of your posts and I have seen your grows here in my last couple months "lurking." Keep it up.
I will be posting shortly with some pictures and a grow log that I found on my doorstep one day. It was weird how it just appeared like that with a CD full of pictures too! WHAT LUCK! Anyway, it seems that guy made a cab similar...very similar to your rubbermail grow box. Will show you soon. Nice to meet you, by the way.

It's hard to see in the pic put pistils are showing (pic1)
This was my bushiest plant and reeked like skunk (pic2,3).:smokin:
I moved the female into another growing box as the three could not fit in one after transplantation. (pic4,5):stoned:

I transplanted them yesterday (a little late). They looked damn near root bound but i tried loosening some roots and making some in Incisions in the tough parts so they would have room to branch out. We'll see how they respond.:stoned:
My other two plants don't look as well but I'm thinking this is from the rootbound (should have posted pic of that fuckin rootball...goddamn) so i expect them to perk up in a few days.

There is not enough space under my rubbermaid tubs for them to get into...i do have one very mischevious cat that fucks with everything though...fucker needs to get spayed...seems like all my pets (3cat,1dog) hate marijuana, however....none like the smoke, bud, or plant...i offered it all :stoned:

Hey guys ive got 2 white widow plants, ive decided it might be a good idea to use LST on mine, ive read up on it before so i have an idea on the basics. however i wouldnt kno which branches to tie down, i know u start with one to keep it from collapsing above the first node and bend it slowly. Do you tie the fan leaves apart or are you tying the sideshoots (soon to be colas) apart?
appriciate a reply cos if im going to do it the side shoots are nicely out already so i need to be hastey.
cheers

Tie the plant down on its side so the plant focuses on the side shoots. Then when the side shoots get big enough tie them down as well. I tuck and tie my big fan leaves out of the way to increase light penetration to the growth tips (side shooots)

nice stuff as always... my friends been busy flowering and alas all but 1 has been confirmed male, but not all has been lost, we have seedlings ready. on my friends 'bodombox' we flipped the air to passive and made some improvements. we have some nice seed that i believe to be feminized that were ready to try after this crappy bagseed runs out. good for practice anyhow.

The first two pics are of the flowering clones. (31 days since cut/ 15 days in flowering) As you can probably see I snapped the main growth stems, accidently, on my clones a couple days ago. I'm trying to be positive and think of it as the plants having more of a chance to be fully flowered in those little pots.
The third pic is of a clone i took to be my new mother after this grow. (37 days since cut)

Yeah...my regular ball (the columbia) is 14lbs. Those 16 lbs have some big time power. I do get tired fast though. After going last night, I'm going to use the Rhino Pro or Track Critical Mass as my strike ball and the Columbia 300 as my spare ball. I didn't really like the zone and the other two are for heavy oiled conditions.
what kinda scores you get?
My high game is 242. I usually bowl around 170. I just started this year, but will only get better with time. Hopefully get on a league and get my average up to 200...

Haha I saw that pic you posted on your thread of some brick goodness. I get to smoke the good stuff when I grow it. Seems like no matter what smoke it is I'll still go through a half a week. Whole point of growing for me is to smoke weed for free or at least minus initial growing investment.

I've been trying to keep temps down but it could be phenotype as it was random bagseed. I just keep on the lookout for quality seeds and put em away.
The girl working at the bowling alley started talking about balls last night too when i walked in with 6 of em. :p

It sucks to have no homegrown.... looks close to what im smoking :)
Your flowering mother looks sick, nice and bushy, with purpling. Your leaves are yellowing a bit faster then my mother did. Should stop by my thread, harvest is going to be in 5 days! :stoned:
Yo dude. I've been keeping an eye on your thread and was actually thinking about you tonight. I have some molasses sitting next to me here. After I saw your thread I thought it couldn't hurt. Just wondering the layman's terms of it. I believe your thread said 1tbsp per 1liter. Any other tips?
Damned leaves looks yellow cuz they are starving. I can/have finished a grow using just that fox farm potting soil. I guess there is enough organic magic in there to work along with being in a fairly large pot. My clones look pretty bad. Not going to fret because I'm not going to fork out any more money on this grow but I [B]will[B] have the fox farm trio(growbig, bigbloom ,tigerbloom) for my next grow.
Anyway I've had some molasses from a while ago when I baked some biscuits for my dog. I thought it couldn't hurt to add it. But yeah dude I'm mostly a lurker but be sure I'm watching all the good threads on here with badass buds. haha, maybe i'll write you more comments

Nice man, cant wait to see those beautiful buds dry :)
How much do you think its final weight will be?..... Im to lazy to check... so... ill ask.. do you have anymore plants going? Right now I got 3 plants nearly ready for flower, 2 clones and 1 seed plant and there all about a foot with lots of branches :D
Enjoy your mary :stoned:

I'm guessing between 1 - 2 oz. I have my original mother of these clones i harvested still in flower. She was put into flower one week before these ones i harvested. I also have a huge mother in veg that looks bad from rootbound but will transplanted into a 5gal and given proper nutrients then put into flower. I also took 4 clones today along with one i already have been growing for some weeks. I'll post pics of it all when i harvest the big momma. :smokin:
I already dried a bud off of each plant which they all smoke wonderfully. i describe it as like a creeper stone but you can tell the difference from my regs i get. :p

Sounds like the great benefits of home grown! The high is always better just because the satisfaction of growin your own shit :D But getting stonned on other good weed is acceptable too :stoned:
It sucks, today I like through out my back, I cant bend at all... well without alot of pain :(
Keep growin yo own shyt

That's crazy, two days ago i know i pulled a muscle in my lower back. I bent down to pick up my cat and when i arose hot damn there was a sharp pain that is still sore today. I've been lugging two 16lb bowling balls on my shoulder alot lately so i think thats it. but damn it does suck to have back problems when your use to being "flexible".
bree...I havent had a mouse as of late (i get angry and break stuff). there is also alot of bs that goes on here just makes me not want to come here.
well off to wake and bake. Thanks for commenting bree and weedman (hope your back gets better).

Glad to see you back man, I hadn't seen anything by you in awhile. You have such sweet luck w/ bagseed, that is such a beautiful color man. Mine will be done in like a week. I was gonna chop this sunday, but I think the extra week will do them some good, maybe finish filling out properly. Sry to hear bout your back man, good thing you'll have some fresh herbal remedy once its dry :D

Yeah i got lucky with this strain i have now. It was my only female out of 3 plants but it showed sex earlier than any plant I've had. I'm gunna keep cloning it for a while. I've been halfassed thinking about getting a c13 or the like with hps. I could be churning out alot more bud. keep the grow boxes as mother, clone, and veg stations.
My big mother is about 9-10weeks in flower and I'm gunna let her go a little while see if she gets any better. I can still see a few new pistils coming out.

pic 1 - one of my four clones that was planted after roots sprouted. I took all four cuttings on jan 3 and all had roots as of this morning.
pic 2 - All of the harvest from my momma plant in jars for curing. I put 7grams or 1/4 ounce in each jar. Dry weight was a little over two ounces.
pic 3 - I kept a half a gift box underneath the drying racks and got a big pile of crystals and hairs. Super pot.:stoned:
pic 4 - Close bud trimmings from my first grow and my second(this) grow. Time to make some browines soon! :p

I heard that, although, this setup is constricted on space. I think a little bigger space, a little brighter light, the yield could probably double, but do your homework... do your homework. PS, awesome grow, setup, everything, wonderful job with your grow log dude!
