Hi Guys,

I'm an Aussie who's now living in London and wondering where I can meet some fellow BUDdies.

One question: Where does one go in London to get some good bud? it seems everyone here is either dry, has shit bud or tries to rip you off with non-bud.

Let me relate a story that happened to me last weekend. We went to Camden to score some bud (me and the missus) and found some little snot guy offering to sell some skunk. He asks if I want a 20 bag or a Q. I say a Q and he tells me they are normally 50 quid but he'll do it for 40. So he tells me to go wait at a busstop down the road and wait for him to walk past while he goes get his shit. So we wait, then comes down the road and he wants to do the trade. I ask to see the shit first and he says "don't you trust me?" so he opens up one the little baggies he has and lets me smell it. It smells like good skunk so we do the trade. Anyways, get home and we inspect the 2 (tiny) bags he has given us. One indeed does contain the skunk but the other certainly wasn't, it just looks like weed until one looks closer. Bastard ripoff c**ts. Ticks me right off. :mad:

Moral of the story, always check ALL the bags before handing over cash.

Anyways I found this board, read a bit and it seems it full of nice people willing to help each other out ;)

It's like that down there unfortunately. I've only bought stuff to smoke down there once tho. I went to Club Colloseum in Vauxhall for a night out and bought some afghani hash on the dancefloor. The dude was off his face on pills or coke or some shyt. He walk off, then came back after a couple minutes, then pulled out what looked like an oz block of hash. He put it in his gob and bit me a piece of which I reckon was around 7-10 gram for £20. It lasted me at least 5 days and I smoke a fair bit. It was clean and the best random gear I've picked up while out of town

I know exactly who you are talking about. He's a Liberian bloke. Was he the one with the short dreadlocks or one of his cronies?

The bus stop is round the corner, near a cinema?

And he disappears up the road across the road from the busstop?

I've had the same happen to me, two bags of skunk, and two bags of bush weed with lots of seeds. I WAS desperate though...

I think it's a case of getting to know people adn then getting a referal from someone who has bought from someone before.

Getting to meet fellow smokers is hard. The irony is that London is full of people that smoke, just finding one is another matter. I tried asking likely suspects at work but they don't know any people who sell it (apparently they only smoke it when someone offers them some but thats it).

I'm willing to meet up others for a drink (my shout even) to get to know fellow London tokers.

ok you asked this guy for bud.....he looks at you and thinks "mmmm an ausy" ........ he then thinks "in america and shit they pay like $20 for a gram......this then leads him to think:

a: he can sell you less for more because he thinks you dont know any better
b: he thinks youve never seen a real 8th so wont be suprised with size
c: alll that bullshit about "dont you trust me" ......loo last guy who said dont you trust met me...well i reply "i trust no-one especially people i dont know".......turned out that guy was selling me an ounce at 2.4grams under..........so i said to him "so why the fuck did u try and rush me with that dont u trust me bullshit....its obviouse i shouldnt fucking trust you eh?

if someone tried to rush you to buy......say "chill the fuck out bruv anyone comes just say its mine" (you take the heat theres no reason to hide it is there?" in london i can pretty muhc walk down my road holding a zed or more while smoking a blunt and have no probs from cops. so when they try to rush the sale its because theyre SCARED your gonna look in the bag and see the fake... dont fall for it. say "chill the fuck out, i dont buy unless i see" and open that bag WIDE open and have a good look if u think its small say "nah blud thats to small fuck that" half the time the person will glare you in the eye a couple of second then produce another bag from theyre back pocket with the weed they took out........YEAH DICK HEAD BACK IN MY BAG THANK YOU.

You guys come to 'LEYTONSTONE' EASt london, you will get some gooood shit down here and you won't get ripped off. you guys are probably asking the wrong people, you have to ask guys who mostly hang around estates, you go to a posh area you ain't getting shit, its the ghetto places where you will find bud not any old tom dick and harry.
