Update!
Gone for 5 days. Came back to mixed feelings, although Ive established that I am far to busy to grow without having any roommates. I lost one of the soil females, but I means Ill have some early bud to smoke. The other 3 females are in critical condition, but the leaves are raising back up so I think were in the green. The final female thats been under the 400...well its banging! Amazing what some extra light and ventillation can do. I am really excited about it, should give me about 4-5 grams of some premium stuff. Its really swelling. Were at day 42+ give or take, however the trichromes are starting to get a little cloudy. Most likely, I will give them another week and have to harvest. They are not worth the hastle of moving in the car.
The hydro is a mixed bag. I came back once again to the G13 having outgrown the lamp, even though I raised it 4" before I left, giving the plant about 8" of space from the hood. I dont know what to do with the plant. The stem is so large and thick and strong I cannot bend it. Its grown to 3/4 of an inch at the base and its nearly 1/4" at the top. The buds are sparse, since lots of the plant is stretching, so I am hoping they fill out. The Trainwreck...looks amazing. I have grown TW before and this is turning out just like it (only a little smaller). The buds are so big the LST stem cannot support the main cola. Pinesol smell, super sticky. I managed to clip off a branch on accident, so I dried it for a few days and then tried it. Smelled WONDERFUL, but the smoke was a little acrid of course, however I expected much worse. What I didnt expect, was for it to work so well. Heck, I would be happy with the potency right now (just doesnt last long), so I can only imagine what another 4 weeks is going to do. The roots are just nuts on the G13, they take up 1/4 of the 20 gallon tank.
The 4 site DWC is doing well...and not. Ive got thrips, and even a spray of habenero pepper water didnt help. The 5 days of dry heat really brought them out. I am going to try a harder concentration. Sucks because they are about 3 weeks into flower, but better now then later. That aside, the plants are doing great, especially the Alaskan. Its got a great odor and quite a few bud sites. The Cindy 99 is still very small, not sure what happened there, but the MK Ultra's are also getting some good bud development. Finally, the Afghani Kush is...well...shes a trooper. I havent had space to transplant her to a larger area, so she was confined in the 1 gallon DWC for 5 days. She had 3" of water when I came home!!!!!! Stretched out and confined, she has some good smelling buds. They will be scarce, but they will still be there!
On with the pictures! First is the setup, overflowin! Next are the soil female that is banging, and proof of what this strain can do when given what it needs.
