I figured I'd share just a bit from my most recent salvia trip...I took a couple of hits of 10x, went to my bed to lay down...And after a moment, everything in my bedroom changed to what I would call a willy wonka-like scenario, and this makes no sense, but it's what I began doing..I was in some kind of weird commercial or something for some kinda of children's cereal, and I was completely unable to control my thinking or body, and somehow during the entire course of my actual trip, it felt as though I was attached to a cord and being dragged over the top of my never-ending bed. In other words, a complete feeling that I was physically moving over something, but I really wasn't. It seemed like it was over a time period of about 10 years, but it was only about three minutes...Salvia is pretty enjoyable to me...Just one of those things that are about once a month or so. It's fun to go out of this dimension every once in a while.

When I tried salvia, I found it to be a sort of weird high, that's as close as I can get as to explaining it. I took one fat rip of what I believe to be 20x. It was really short, I just kind of uncomfortable. Although, I heard a salvia trip is greatly affected by your environment. I might want to try it about in a better surrounding and smoke more of it.

I took some x20 the over day at a festival as a substitute for bud as id run out at the festival. the salvia fucked me up quite a bit wasnt exactly sure where i was my vision was fooked, didnt last long though and was pretty cheap and nice alternative to bud though.

Salvia's very intense, and indeed is adversely affected by the envioronment. Anything that's heard and seen can all morph together and become the weirdest and most unexplainable experience you've had...And for me, salvia is by far the most interesting thing I've ever done in my life.

I have that feeling of "going somewhere but never ariving" I've actually noted it being the same thing last time I smoked. Every time I smoke salvia I have this feeling like something is supposed to happen, but never does. All this anticipation building up and there's no release, leaving me quite dissapointed compared to how my friends trip on the stuff. One time I took a couple big hits and I started seeing waves. I started having tunnel vision and saw a figure at the end telling me to "come". Thats probably the furthest I felt I've gone....

Is there any way not to resist? I don't conciously think im resisting but I must be...

*EDIT* Don't get me wrong, I still trip on the stuff. It's not like it doesn't effect me. Ususally what happens is I take the hit and feel it coming. I notice my mouth feels really strange and that funky salvia taste. I usually get quite hot, sometimes sweating, and nothing even looks real anymore. Things seem to be made of some type of clay, putty, or sometimes cardboard and I feel like im being pulled in a certain direction. I look around in discomfort expecting something to happen and nothing ever does. I usually just begin to get ahold of myself and that was the end of the trip.

I've smoked 10x before and did it all proper-like, used a jet lighter and glass pipe but all that happened was I felt like my body was being priicked with needles all over- quite unpleasant. I think it has different effects on different people, my friends have some crazy stories. I smoked dried leaves with weed before though, and I hallucinated- it was pretty cool, I definitely preferred that to smoking the extract.

Yeah I got like 4 grams of 10x for free from a friend who was going clean, its good fun. I mixed some into a dimebag which i sold to my friend, he thought it was the best weed ever lol

can we talk sometime...like make a conversation thread or something because i want so much to understand salvia but cant. ive had some messed up trips and am basically scared now but want to understand it and see its full potential.

I don't know, I got some 45x and when I smoked it, I felt like I was entering the real 'reality' and the world we live in is a big joke. It was sort of depressing but I felt better about it the next day. It did suck though because shortly after the trip, it just got real unpleasant, I was sweating like crazy and ended up throwing up and passing out for the night.

Also, has anyone tried kratom? I got my salvia off that famous internet auction site, now I get spam from the seller and kratom is one of the products. From what I read on erowid.org, it sounds like it can cause some bad experiences. I think these substances are legal for a reason, they are not for RECREATIONAL use!

when i hold that stuff in for 20 sec....wherever i go....i always feel like ive been there before...and then i start remembering that im on salvia and my throat starts closing up....and i tell myself....."im on salvia its gonna go away in 2 min" over and over again to reasure myself that the complete loss of reality is just temporary......

I tried 10x. I took a big hit, held it for like 40 seconds, took another smaller hit, held it for like 20 seconds, then laid down. The next thing I remember, I'm laughing uncontrollably. Like I can not control it at all, just foricbly laughing. Then I got up on all fours, and started flipping out. Just like rolling around, and kicking wildly. Ripping grass out of the ground. The whole world kept flipping back and forth between semi-normal me and totally fucked up me. It was like I had two personalities, one was fucked up on salvia and trying to scare [a friend], and the other was normal-ish and kinda fighting the salvia. And the whole world kept flipping over, between the two. It was intense.

I bought some Salvia spliffs from a headshop fairly recently, and after smoking just one, I was confortably stoned but nothing out of this World, infact I saw thing's alot more clearly, my analytical ability was much more accurate than normal, I was able to take certain thing's in my life apart, from a clear, concise totally objective view point, I don't find anything about it wacky or weird. Was good and I would do it again.

Savlia joints probably don't work that well because it's not hot enough.

Salvia is my favorite hallucinogen, simply because it doesn't leave me feeling all torn up (both physically and mentally) afterwards like shrooms, lsa or acid do. That, and I feel like even though I'm not really in full control of my mental state on salvia, I do have a higher degree of control over my physical self than I do with the above.

Last time I did it (4 days ago), I had just got back from a big party and was already rather drunk and stoned. I ripped two bowls of 10X extract, and proceeded to drift off into another world. My friends were apparently trying to have a conversation with me, but all I would do was laugh and stare off past them. Then when I started to come out of it, I told them how I had actually had a conversation with them, just on what seemed to be a desert planet way into the future. Though I was only gone for about 5 to 10 minutes, to me it seemed like it was hours. After that, smoked a couple bowls with my buds, and then passed out on the couch.

Anyone have experience with vaping salvia? I was thinking of getting some extract and vaping it instead of smoking it to make it last longer.

Salvia needs a really high temp (240 C) to release salvinorin A, so I wouldn't reccomend vaping, a torch lighter is best really.
